To add to this, if you're ever in western NC, I have a plastic Willys bumper with your name on it. But I'd recommend a steel one. Which I guess is obvious, seeing as I replaced mine with one. But offer still stands.
I drove an F 150 and a Ranger (which was a used park service vehicle) as work trucks for years. Both ran great and I'll never be a hater. Also a Chevy CK that I abused on hunting trails that ran forever and is still in the family. I am not a fan of turbo engines in general, but hate for the...
You just made me go out and check mine! So far, so good, but that's worth keeping in mind. Especially on cheap Amazon stuff we put on the outsides of our Jeeps.
I got ARB's "Tyre inflator" digital filler. Will tinker around with it after work today, but it's said to be a good one. I understand the OCD; I'd be driven crazy of one tire was even a pound off from the others.
Mentioned this in the mega thread "What did you do to your Gladiator today" but did get it installed. Only issue (you can see from pic #2) is that there's no place to mount the switch. Still works but I feel like I'm missing a part.
I'm going to the Jeep Adventure Academy on Mother's Day and it looks like Asheboro is the closest larger town with chain hotels and that's still a 45 minute drive. Anyone know of a good spot that's closer? I'm bringing the wife so would prefer to get a nicer room. Thanks!
Took it turkey hunting for the 5th time this year. And for the first time in almost 30 years of hunting turkey, I got 2 big gobblers. The second one came back 5 minutes after I shot the first. Almost felt bad.
Fleet truck "or" rental... surely they can tell you which! I'd feel alright about a fleet truck, but agree that is a lot of mileage to trade into. People can be hard on rentals, and reportedly especially Jeep Wranglers, since they feel like they can go anywhere and rental insurance is cheap. I...
I think I have everything I need for on board air among my purchases and birthday presents. Will look through the @813 Fabrication & Design box carefully for a paper swan before I recycle!
My one year of ownership just passed this week and I no longer have access to the Sirius app. And wouldn't you know it, the check engine light came on that same day! The conspiracy part of my brain was on full alert, but realizing I just crossed 4K miles, I bet it's an oil change they're telling...
Not to crap on your idea OP, but I wouldn't be in a Gladiator without the Wrangler front end, and if they offered the 2.0 L turbo, I'd have paid the extra for the 3.6 just like if I was buying a Wrangler but that's just me. My biggest wish is that they'd offered a 2 door version with a shorter...
As a big supporter of more than a little junk in the trunk on the ladies, I take this analogy personally! But I get where OP is coming from and having driven pickups my whole life, the one I wish I'd never gotten rid of was a Tacoma. Toyota makes a damn good engine and decent pickups built...
I'm glad that worked out for you. I liked Sarge just as much as Gobi, so wasn't heartbroken when it was no longer available when I ordered. But if they had both been gone, I'd have been ordering a color that wasn't my dream Jeep, and would have felt a little sadness every time one of those...
Went biking in Asheville yesterday. A little under 10 miles and got me more tired than it should have. But the new bike rack (inexpensive Hollywood brand) did a great job getting them there and back. Not a permanent "mod" by any means, but much handier than throwing them in the back. I now have...
