If you look at his previous posts they all have links to articles that loosely relate to the subject. Stuff like when people are asking about sleeping in the bed of the truck he'll respond with "I had a friend that wanted to sleep on a mattress, check out this link and let me know what you...
It sure looks awfully similar to the license plate lamp connector used on the JLs... If you look closely at the closeup you had posted @steffen707 you can see a vertical slat on the left side and a small notch on the bottom right.

Additionally in the "entire vehicle connector map" attachment we can see that the rear fog lights are a part of the rear bumper harness for the JL to include the park sensors and tag light.
The connector itself (rear fog light connector attachment) shows that pins 6 and 12 feed the rear fog...
I was planning on ordering one to play with, but you beat me to it. I’m still working with @AllMoparParts.com to figure out the rear fog interior controls and harness. I’ll report back if we can figure it out.
Hey-oh! Look what @AllMoparParts.com was able to find for me!

Thanks for the update. Interesting that they aren’t even looking into it. Guys on the JL forum have been complaining about it well before the JTs were even made available. This is too bad @JeepCares . It’s a silly problem that should be relatively straight forward...
For me, I want a rear fog light. A lot of the trails around here can get dusty quick, so it would be nice to turn them on so I don't get rear-ended!
My initial thought was to come up with some type of flush mount light like we've been seeing in the thread in place of the passenger side...
I haven’t even used any of my 4 switches, but I loved being able to wire my CB to the in-cab ignition wire. My CB has a memory function that will do the same thing (CB on or off) the last time it saw power. This way I won’t come out the next day to a dead battery in the truck because I forgot to...
Too funny. @steffen707 beat me to the punch - I just asked the same question in @DiscoDino ’s build thread. If these are OEM then I’d imagine there’s a part number for us in the west to get!
Do you have a picture of your interior light switch panel (for headlights, cargo, fog, etc.)? Curious...
Sounds like a good build!
Are the rear bumper reflectors also rear fog lights from the factory for your region? Would love to get a Mopar part number if so!
I musta missed ya out there! I was the completely-bombed-in-sand Sting Gray JTR cruising around and towing people out. I was out there primitive camping with my dad in his XJ.
You make it out to Tallahassee often? My wife and I just closed on a house in East Tallahassee out in horse...
I did it just a couple months back while visiting my parents (they are in Jefferson / Braselton area). Didn't get to explore all of it, but don't think I can make it back up in time. Easy trail, but pretty cool regardless. Good luck! Would have loved to talk Bimmers and Jeeps (wish I still...
Sheesh, let's see. I'm going to have a little twist to mine. It looks like I've personally had nine with thirteen being a part of me in the family.
