  1. New engine replacement on 2021 3.6

I'm curious about this as well ... were you doing your own services, dealer, or a quick lube location? .... that filter looks suspect.
  2. Well this ruined my day

Do the diesels have the same filter cartridge and cap as the 3.6? ... if so, I would make an assumption that the O-ring was not installed correctly during the last service.
  3. Well this ruined my day

The JT also times out ... at least mine does
  4. Good steps / nice concept, pricing way off?

If these are what you're after ... they appear to be of good quality and are US made, not the imported junk that most other retailers are peddling. If you like them ... buy them.
  5. Auto start/stop question

If not a Tazer than possibly an Auto/Stop Eliminator has been installed
  6. I kind of thought my 8 spd transmission had issues, now I'm kind of thinking it is....

Mine runs impressively smooth ... that has actually been one of my praises of this 8spd. You might confirm oil level ... you mentioned being a 2022.... mines a 20' ... I opted to do a dump and flush at 30k miles. I do not for a second buy into the lifetime fluid that Jeep claims, especially...
  7. I've become disillusioned with my Jeep

I would first suspect tires in your case ... tires and suspension will react different with changes in temp and sometimes elevation.
  8. I've become disillusioned with my Jeep

70k miles puts you right on the mark for ball joints, tie rods ends, and drag link ... (all hwy). If you were off-roading I would suggest that you would have been dealing with this already. Unless someone can prove that the stock components being pressed and crimped are causing these issues, I...
  9. I've become disillusioned with my Jeep

Yes they do ... current stock ball joints are well known to wear as low as 20k, especially if you have any modifications or do any sort of off-roading. If your at 70k that's the first place I'd look. Also, do a dry steer test to check your Drag Link and Tie Rod Ends. I had a drag link end show...
  10. Can a section of the frame be cut out and replaced if bent?

Yep ... frame replacements are a common thing, when they are available. I was dealing with a minor collision issue a couple yrs back. It took forever due to three frame replacements scheduled in front of mine. Collision center explained it was dependent on the insurance company. the second...
  11. Do we really need a spare tire?

You don't need it until you need it ...
  12. I've become disillusioned with my Jeep

First, are you really experiencing death wobble vs a mild sense of bump steer? I purchased my Sport S (Max tow, ie wider axles) from the dealer with Rubicon suspension (Springs and Shocks). I noticed that in that stock trim under abrupt G-outs the truck would unsettle a bit ... definitely not...
  13. ARB single air compressor mount question

... man IDK ... with the limited space under the JT hood you'll have to really ask if the juice is worth the squeeze to make it fit. I'm personally not really all that impre$$ed even with the ARB Dual to go through that effort ... anything over a 35 and they really fall off. My buddy had to help...
  14. Best, stock-looking and reasonably priced LED front lighting upgrade?

I tossed in some Beam Techs after watching [Banned Site]'s video ... no regrets and surprisingly easy on the wallet.
  15. Competition: 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Teased and Confirms i-Force Max Hybrid Powertrain + Coil Spring Rear Suspension

Toyota IMO really needs to lean their TRD Pro towards the true off road community. Spec in real features that that community really values and lessen the pain of modification. My buddy has a 21' Taco ... while it's a really nice truck he complains about things such as the transmission and...
  16. Rain X fluid and Low Washer Fluid Sensor

No sensor issues, but Rain X plugged my nozzles. It nice that you have to pull the hood insulator off to gain access .... Not
  17. You can only drive your Gladiator one way. Which do you choose?

This .... and also to keep the dust out. I have a Sunrider for when on the road.
  18. What is happening!?!

Depending on its state ... yes. I deleted and bypassed mine about a year ago. Basically rewire like you are installing a Genesis Dual Battery .... Run the AUX positive up to the main positive and isolate or remove the Aux ground. The Aux positive is just long enough, but it will reach. if I...
