See the bottom half ring? Then the two upper tabs? Those will depress with the filler nozzle is pressed In. Unlocks the flap (silver disc). If his looks like that then it’s next to impossible to mess it up.. almost.. given some kind of failure.

all of them look great! Wondering if they can match the hydro blue.. wanted the flat clear body wrap but this is more durable for off road and I wouldn’t have to worry about trees or bushes.. Awesome guys.

Thought we was talking of a Gladiator? I only have experience with the gladiator.. guessing I assumed since we are on the Glafiator forum the discussions was to reflect the gladiator? .. now if you are talking of another brand I have no idea what nozzle they will allow but I can tell you that...

No.. the flap is locked from moving.. when you insert the right diameter nozzle it hits 3 tabs at the same time and unlocks the flap.. you can’t mess it up.. it is idiot proof!

No worries on filling up with the wrong fuel... the diesel fuel nozzle diameter is larger than a gas one and the diesel has a flap that locks into place and unless the right nozzle is placed correctly then the flap will not move.. stopped at a station by my house and it was my first fill up...

Maybe you are just now realizing you bought a diesel? Mine makes similar noises lol.. keep the $5 .. might need it for the next tank of fuel. good luck on the search ?

Maybe to many 5-10 min drives and not enough time to actually charge the battery? To many amps out and not enough amps in so it depleted? That’s my guess. Hope you get it sorted out.
