It's a non issue if it's already lifted. A little bit of a balancing act, but not as bad as the front where 6* of caster points the pinion away from the tcase output.
If you need a data point, mine is an early '21. It was built in December, and delivered 1/27/21. Has the drip channels, but not the new wing seals. Just let me know.
Yeah, my thought process was maybe jeep made a slight change to the front topside roll cage structure specifically for the changeover to the new airbags. Can you measure the thickness through that bolt hole on the Mojave and your wife's?
My soft top has the same type of mounting arrangement too.
Bill, I know yours sits really low at the front, but yours is high at the back too when it's installed, correct?
If there was a small captive spacer that surrounded the front mounting bolt, think hard rubber 3/16 thick washer, would that lift up the front enough to clear the seals and still let...
The RK kit should have less pinion movement over the range of articulation. Adjust the uppers to length, aim the pinion at the transfer case output and go.
This is a pic of the cradle. The upper mounts are visible in the center, the lowers are in the stock location. Read through this thread, there are a ton of pics from the install...
Do you tow? How heavy is your build? How fast do you routinely drive?
I wouldn't consider 4.88s unless 40+ was in your future and you don't plan on changing the 44s for a different axle combo.
If you drive faster (80-85+) for hours on end, do the 4.10s. If you don't, or you tow, or your rig is...
DAVECS2, I run RPMs above 2500 constantly (37's w5.13s and a 6spd) My cruise rpm at 75 is near 2600 and I haven't had a single issue with this jeep.
I did have both intake cams on a mostly stock JK replaced at 40k miles.
Mine JT only runs about 200* water temp until I'm stuck in traffic for...
Ok, so this isn't a inward bent control arms will fix it issue.
The wheels you like are the stock Willys wheels. A 1.25" wheel spacer will fix all your issues. Factory wheels can accommodate a smaller spacer, there are lug pockets in the wheel mounting surface for them.
Do you have adjustable rear control arms too?
That thrust angle needs addressed once you find what is loose up front.
If you can't get the tires dynamically balanced, they will cause DW. I've seen a couple with 80+ pounds of road force. That force will cause issues on a solid axle rig.
If...
I couldn't find any play with a pry bar, but when I pulled them apart to replace with Metal Cloak Baller joints, they were floppy with almost no resistance to them.
Also, check the 4 bolts that hold your steering box on. Mine were loose from the factory.
