I been wanting one of these for years, but I keep internally debating and always go with a super strong magnetic stainless steel oil plug. I’d like to believe it’s worth a little oil on my fingers.
I use one of these...
Hmm … I may have to pull the trigger! I had ACE sliders on my last gladiator and they were great! But I can’t understand how they went from 700 bucks to 1400 bucks … However! The GOAT sliders are about 1100 with coupon, which isn’t $700 bucks like the original, but “inflation”, right, that’s...
YES! I very much dislike the single dimmer … I read on the JL forum that installing the dual dimmer switch doesn’t work either… but if someone comes up with a recipe for success, I’ll be sure to follow.
Anyone buy a Mopar roll up tonneau cover lately? I heard that they switched from the black twill to the old sailcloth vinyl material? Can anyone confirm??? I had a 2021 with the updated mounts and it was black twill, this was on my 2021 Gladiator … I just bought a 2023 Far Out without the roll...
Dang it, they must have started cheap out…
What year is your gladiator? No wonder the “new” version is cheaper than the “old” version.
The thing is, I factory ordered my 2021 ecodiesel 80th anniversary with every possible option, and it came with the roll up tonneau in black twill. So I must...
I have had 3 Gladiators, 2 of which had the Mopar roll up tonneau cover. Both my 2020 and 2021 were in the black twill material.
I am planning on putting in an adder for Mopar Tonneau cover for my new 2023. I am hearing that some are getting the lesser quality vinyl and they’re are not getting...
I heard of some folks getting the lesser quality material on their tonneau cover … if this is true, it’s very disappointing … as a long time Jeeper that twill material is light years ahead of the old “sail cloth” … that’s what it was called when Jeep started using the new material.
I feel the same about the bronco with the roof flipped back, looks goofy. My instinct was to go soft top on my gladiators but the hard top with the floppy Sunrider is awesome.
Just flip it open, flip it closed …
I’ve owned nothing but soft tops, or dual top. EXCEPT for the 3 JT, they were all hard tops with the Sun Rider floppy tops … great compromise! My wife had the 4xe with the Sky One Touch top, that was cool.
In all my experience with new tops, used tops, OEM, twill, sail cloth, Aftermarket, blah...
The rental I had was a badlands. Like I said, rode like crap. Maybe the “Squach” has better suspension tuning. The one I had was bone stock with 25k isn miles. The top flapped, the frameless windows shook, the seats were less comfortable, the miles of plastic somehow looked worse than the miles...
Faulty? No, I’m pretty sure it was just awful. It actually rode how I expect a jeep to ride, the JL/JT surprisingly ride very well. I too am a serial jeep owner, 6 TJ/LJ, ZJ 5.9, WK2 Summit, JL 4xe, 3 JTs.
