So⦠for giggles I took a look at the new Grand Cherokee with the McIntosh system, pictures were hard to find, but this eBay ad did a nice job. As you can see it looks just like the upgrade I suggested, a nice little āALPINEā logo, also made in Mexico BUT the speaker has 4 pins, the amp probably...
Hey all!
I just removed a nearly brand new set of take off wheels and tires from my 2023 Gladiator Far Out Rubicon. These are actually Mojave wheels with machined edges that they used for the Far Out editions.
I removed these with 4,000mi and theyāre PERFECT. Never off-road.
When you know ⦠you know. But that Mojave is the best trim, I think you ended on a high note!
I too am on my third.
First was a white Sport, bough as soon as they came out, only options were alpine, hard top and a 6 speed manual. Mopar lift and 35ās were quickly installed and then during the...
Hey all, I am looking to buy a spare Gladiator diesel exhaust system. From the turbo mounting flange all the way to the tailpipe. The front half would be ok too. Hopefully all the sensors intact. Most likely this would be from a shop swapping clogged systems, a wrench or someone performing a...
Iām surprised an F150 would out tow the gladiator ecodiesel, but it is a bigger truck, sound like it scoots with a snailcharger on it. I plan on buying a small travel trailer at some point⦠getting tired of tenting it ā¦
I was pretty anti ford guy my whole life, weird ergonomics and odd styling⦠BUT! Last year I was stuck with a brand new turbo 4 banger mustang rental for 3 months and just last week I had rented an expedition limited fully loaded for a week and both were very well done vehicles. I enjoyed them...
Anyone have any news to share about their EOC Stage 2 tune ??? Iām debating GDE or EOC Stage 2. I donāt care about power, I just want the efficiency, reliability and throttle response.
Anyone ever try to remove the DEF tank and swap in a gas gladiator tank for another 5 gallons of fuel? I feel...
Right, I was making a point that the story wasnāt complete without including the area. The gladiator is smaller than a ram, therefore the drag coefficient times the surface area may be closer to equal. I donāt have the figures to calculate. So speculation on top of speculation. I will say I...
Well, comparing stock for stock, my last gladiator got equal or greater to what the ram folks are reporting. It was an 80th anniversary, basically a sport in overland clothes ā¦
my current rubicon struggles to get 25mpg highway whereas the 80th would get as good as 31mpg. When I lifted and put...
I agree, I put 37ā on my last gladiator diesel, thought it was perfect ⦠gearing was perfect. Power was great and MPG hovered around 22-27mpg, stock overland street tires was 27-31mpg.
I think the transmission is so versatile that going 4.56 would be nice and peppy and the double OD gears will...
Why donāt you rent a bronco and determine whatās better ⦠I randomly got a bronco as a rental is itās worse at everything versus a jeep JL/JT. There is nothing it does better. Donāt be fooled by IFS handles the road better. The bronco was rattle city. The only rattle in my gladiator was the...
Speculation at best. The Jeep has a drag coefficient of .45 or something close and the Ram I googled to be .36, so yes more aerodynamic, but the Ram is larger. Someone needs to measure their frontal area and multiply it by the drag coefficient ⦠they may not be too far off aerodynamically when...
Keep fighting the good fight brutha. I agree, obviously⦠Some canāt believe that the simplest answer is the correct one ⦠I am one of those ⦠I just HATE messing with car audio, a rabbit hole of money spent, disappointment and money wasted. The effort isnāt worth just buying factory upgraded...
My phone constantly does that ⦠I know.
well, in a convertible, itās nice to have screened cones to keep junk off your cones. Also nice to use OEM rigidly mounted connectors, so no rattles, no spade connectors to work loose. Instead of a flexible sheet metal basket, the factory is bent in a way...
