That’s SPEC, pretty much what we need to determine the pass/fail criteria.
I am assuming this is at full load weight, 6500lbs?
I’d be shocked if my jeep could tow an extra ton, my 4000lb aerodynamic airstream was struggling to keep 35mph for a little bit. I turned off the AC. But it was 105+...
Right! But how do we provide feedback to FCA that what you thought was marginal is in fact worse than marginal.
if no one complained that our fuel pumps disintegrate, then they would never issue a fix.
I know the sun has set for the ecodiesel, but it would be nice if they released a TSB to...
Took my jeep to the dealer for oil change, fuel filter blah blah blah, but I mentioned the hot temps and aerate towing a 4000lb airstream . They said they needed my trailer and drive up the hill I noticed the aerate to further diagnose … I told them to escalate because this issue needs to be...
Turbo “elbow” back … look at your exhaust now and where the V Band clamp starts, the EOC exhaust starts.
it would be nice if there was a nice high flow turbo elbow. It’s possible it’s integrated into the exhaust turbine housing, I can’t really see it that well
i disagree … gas has it pretty figured out for the most part …
diesel JUST started with this emissions crap in 2007 and the mechanisms are drastic.
gas started emissions systems in the mid 70’s (some as back as far as the 50’s), so it’s had more time to mature and the systems are not that...
The GDE tune is legal and will add a couple more MPG. Improve power, efficiency and longevity. Not as much as a full delete tune.
installing the GDE tune essentially erased the recall tune and plus all the other improvements done on that tune.
Put a tune on it …
that’s pretty bad mileage. I’d got about 21mpg at worst with 37” KO2 (Mopar lift) on my last ‘21 diesel, as good as 25. This truck did NOT have the recall done.
my current ‘23 diesel, I have no lift and 35” tires and get about 24-27mpg. This truck was built with the new...
Yea, not impressed with their communication… makes them feel like a shady dealer on the side of the road…
I saw Great North Diesel has a mandrel bent 409 “stainless” exhaust, it looks more “factory”...
Odd … I special ordered my 80th anniversary fully loaded diesel gladiator with the tonneau and it was the twill material, not the vinyl stuff… my 2023 wears the the I bought from BAM and they’re the same. Odd that all these differences are out there and inconsistent… wonder if it was an oops on...
Yep! Bought a brand new tonneau from BAM, I think it was manufactured April of this year, and it was the premium material that matches perfectly to my Mopar Sunrider … it’s all the same black twill. I have no idea what’s going on with that cheaper material … sucks we have to dodge these type of...
Oh! Excellent!!! I was annoyed because I could not find a top tier filter for this thing, would have been nice to know … little did I know, such product still doesn’t exist (yet).
Thanks!
The 23D is a real sweet spot, get that large front lounge area that makes it feel a LOT larger than any of the sub 25 foot Airstreams. Tows easy with the truck and super maneuverable.
I have the ecodiesel, we know these run hot, but the temps shoot from 220/240 (water/oil temp) to 240/260 in no...
Another 23D owner I see … I just picked up a 2017 International last month … towed so well, but cooling system caught up with me and left me in the slow lane around 45mph. I live in Phoenix and have a lot of mountains when escaping the oven …
speaking of stars, I told the wife we gotta try...
So I pushed the gladiator a little hard. Went up to the mountains (Payson/Happy Jack) with some serious climbs and 90-95 degree weather … I seemed to hit about 242/262 water/oil temps on the way up… on longer climbs I lowered speed to 45mph. My confidence is a little shattered, but I’ll be...
