I've seen that pic, I just feel like the folded up portion will have a larger profile than that. If not, great, but I wonder how it sounds and what it does to mileage.
Someone in a forum (here or JL) said that their insurance company would cover GG just like regular glass since it is now an OEM option. May look into that?
There's been 1 for a few weeks at least at a local dealer for me. It's a unit they're willing to sell. Didn't look at sticker honestly because I don't care, but it's there lol.
Mine worked again for a day or so then nothing since. It's currently back at the dealer and I'm in the Wrangler loaner again. The girls up there treat me great though, So I got the MySky one and had it open on my drive home yesterday :)
Ya but you also get a lot more than just the engine. From what I was reading on the JL forums the last few weeks it also has upgraded brakes, thicker metals in the frame, more HD components, and a slew of other things that aren't advertised but do add up quite a bit. It's not just an engine and...
Actually they confirmed the exact opposite stating the Hurricane would not be mated with any vehicle as a hybrid (a plug-in hybrid at least).
Per Mopar Insiders:
" The cancelation of the Hurricane PHEV also means that will not be available in any of the upcoming muscle car offerings from the...
I like that the JT looks like the JL, it's 1 of the big things that drew me to it. I also thinks it makes a lot of sense to have them look similar and share pretty much everything forward of the rear of the cab.
I hadn't driven the 2L before a few months ago but when I did I was really...
I'd be interested to see what it looks like on an actual JT. what t hey have there is a rendering and I think it will stick up more than it shows and will be a bit more bulky. Still, nice to see another option. Would still love to see it go behind the seats and I really don't care about the flip...
That sounds like something is wrong or heavily modded. Or you drive under yes/no conditions to where the throttle is fully pressed or not all lol. You're experience is not the norm, as an outlier, you don't count :P
I'd like to point you to this post on the JL forum by ChaseW. Not to deter you in any way but to give you perspective of what a Wrangler driver thought of his experience with a Bronco. I'll also post his first... post here:
Also, if you're interested in asking him any questions your credentials...
I thought both diesel and gasoline were byproducts of the refining process for crude. Not necessarily that it's 1 or the other, but both came out at x% per gallon of crude. More gasoline than diesel, but ya... are you telling me my thought pattern on this has been wrong for years? Honestly...
Unfortunately the offroad mpg numbers I've seen from YT have been terrible. They're getting about 3mi or thereabouts when going full electric on the trail.
