I remember way back we would have the heads CC ed for exact size.
I think it's odd that there is no way to get more HP out of our 3.6 .
But I have a plan to get a V8 . Buy a new JT sport. Have a V8 installed . No smog test required for 7 or 8 years on a new vehicle. Then sell it...
Defenders are great tires. I have a set of 295-70-18 that are 34.25 diameter almost new. They are silent and ride smooth. Not sure how they would do on 4.88 gears. If they came in 37s I would get them. At 15PSI they would work fine for desert.
It's in the transmission. If it was TC related it would do I all the time, not when just after sitting for a while. Only does it in reverse and only one time. No one knows of a fix.
This clunk thing when going into reverse when cold has been going on for quite a while now with no fix. Has there been any failures? Anyone found a fix? Do we just live with it? Is there anyone that does not have it?
Within the last 5 years I have become really fear os heights and shelf roads. Just can't do them. There were parts of onion creek that started to set me off. It's all in my head.
