I started to research the problems of the EcoDiesel after I bought one - very clever.
But I like the characteristics of this engine so much that I most likely would buy it again.

Good thing is that we still have dipstick in the engine.
Quite a number of modern motors don't have it anymore.
Mine is consuming approx 1/2 quart every 4 k miles but I am not sure if the consumption has been reduced with rising milage (actual 9 k)
