The Teraflex 3.5 is a stiff lift, you won’t get a lot of drop at all when it settles in. At full articulation you might get some fender rub but surely not driving or most over landing. But you do always have the option of changing our the fenders. There are some nice options out there.
Ride is great, super solid both on and off road. 37s will fit. Your only caution should be wheel back spacing, but they will fit under those fenders with this kit for sure.
downside is highway driving, pushes me down to 15-16 mpg, sometimes 17 mpg. The gears allow it to climb like its driving on flat ground with no lag and or dropping out of 7th 8th gear, its great. I drive pretty aggressively, and its super responsive. Still don't regret it at all. On top of that...
buy a willys (they come with interior upgrades such as aux buttons, 8 inch screen, and heated seats and steering wheel) and smash out them upgrades, rubicon parts are really not that good of a value actually. For example the shocks alone cost the factory like 50 bucks each.
That's a cheap lift.. unless your not factoring in labor, a lot of people aren't comfortable doing their own lift. I will say 15 K is about right and that will vary little labor. Lift 3k without labor, re-gear 2K with labor, tires and wheels 4k, led upgrades for fog and headlights likely with a...
not uncomfortable, just dont drive over 80, like ever, not in a twin turbo, not in a jeep, just dont need to drive that fast. to be honest i also think people underestimate the lethality of a car wreck.
technically you need front and rear. both your axles are off from the lift, measure from the frame to the edge of the tire, youll see that the rear is off too.
you could easily add one yourself. If you want a good one there are plenty on the market. I have a synergy front and rough country rear on my gladiator, both are really good. On my JL I have a steersmarts front track bar and synergy rear.
Ive been waiting for the Banks brand. Honestly most the others are just not able to do enough to make it worth the money. If you havent seen them, check them out, everyone should be copying them.
ive had 5.13s with my 35s for the last several months, I dont regret at all, pick up is insane. I do plan to go to 37s, but honestly even if you plan to tow, you wont regret 5.13s. Its the same price point for any gear change, so why not go up, heck you might change your mind down the road and...
