I am pretty sure I figured it out, but I am not sure I will move forward with the idea. I'm not sure how well some of the components I found will fair in an automotive scenario. The amber light is pretty bright and I'm not sure if it will be distracting to have it on while driving. I plan to...
I've removed these cowling pieces in the past more than I thought I would, so I decided to wire some plugs in case they needed to be removed.

I think I realized why the fuse is spec'd for ground. There are 2 positive leads for this (turn signal and light) with a common ground. if you fuse the ground, you protect both positives with one fuse instead of fusing both positive leads.
Upon further investigation, it looks like it wont be an easy job as the parking light stays on while the turn signal flashes, so even with a diode the new amber side lights would stay on instead of blinking when the turn signal flashes.
I ordered a pair earlier this week. I like the idea of using the amber as a marker and turn signal, but not sure which wire/s that would be. I'll probably use a relay to cut the amber wire power when I turn on the ditch lights so I don't have the amber bleed over.
I found the wiring diagram...
Is the screen going to "night mode"? If you have your dimmer all the way up it will lock the screen in full brightness. I do this when off-roading in the woods to keep my screen at full brightness when the auto headlights come on and off (I suppose I could just turn the headlights off too)...
Its a GA Gladiators group, so all over the state. Seems to be mostly folks on the northside of atlanta from what I can tell.
They have a ride tomorrow. Sorry for the late notice. I'm doing a ride with my local Jeep group tomorrow so I wont be on this one.
After reading through this, I didn't see many people mention what height lift the Ram bags would work for. I saw a couple of mentions of the Mopar lift, but has any installed on a Clayton or other manufacture's 3.5" lift?
And is there a way to spec the ram bags, but with gladiator hardware or...
Leaving at 8? Things really have changed. I remember when I took my car there and it was in Alpharetta. If you didn't get there by 630 or so, you weren't parking in the main lot.
I have a 37" Ridge grappler at about 15PSI in the spare tire location. It clears my thicker adjustable track bar by about half an inch and is up against the trailer hitch.
I just want to echo this.
I was just in FL running mostly on sand. I aired down after driving around for 10 or minutes. Night and day difference just from a ride quality.
I had to run primary power to the battery for the compressors, but for the "trigger" wire, I just ran it to the switch wire in the cab. Basically following their instructions to a T for running the wire through the floor drain hole.
Takes about 10min to air up or down with my 37s.
