  1. I accidentally put my jack on the drive shaft

wasnt paying attention when I went to set my pinion angle and put my jack where the picture shows. Now i have a slight squeak every revolution or so. Not sure what I messed up or what need to be replaced now...
  2. In bed, side tire mount

I like the looks of this because it mounts to the trail rail, but I wonder if it would fit across the back of the bed instead of on either side. My 37" Ridge Grappler does not fit very well with an aftermarket track bar. https://wilcooffroad.com/shop/bed-rail-tire-carrier-gladiator/
  3. Which Lift Kit to Pick From

I felt this way when I dropped my truck off the jack stands after installing the 3.5". I stood next to it and thought.Whoa, glad I installed the Rock Slide Engineering steps already. Request for anyone with a stock Rubicon... Can you measure the height of the top of the bed rail? I was too...
  4. Which Lift Kit to Pick From

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the service from Clayton. I just installed the 3.5" overland kit with fox shocks and it rides great. I cut my sway bar end links too much and they're sending me new threaded rod so I can redo it at no charge to me even though it was my mistake.

  6. Georgia

I'm just west in Canton. I've lived here my whole life and can't answer that question because I have always done my own wrenching, but gears is not something I plan to tackle myself so I look forward to the replies.
  7. 12.5 vs 13.5 Nitto Ridge Grappler

Just in case somebody stumbles on this thread later down the road and is curious. AEV Pintler with 37 12.5 ridge grapplers
  8. Prerunner Led Lights

A bit late to the party, but that looks like the Rugged ridge Arcus.
  9. Rock Slide Engineering Step Slider

I get a clunk or thud when they close in to place. It doesnt bother me, but took getting use to. They are very solid steps. The pics dont do them justice. When you step on them, the truck moves, not the step. I dont see how anybody could lift their truck and not have steps of some sort. I...

    +1 on the Arcus
  11. Installed Clayton 3.5" and my steering wheel is so far off center

Thanks! I just went out and made those changes and everything seems to be good now. Off to the alignment shop!
  12. Installed Clayton 3.5" and my steering wheel is so far off center

Yeah that makes A LOT more sense how it was handling and the sound of the tire rubbing the road driving down the street in my neighborhood. I should have paid closer attention to the video I watched.
  13. Installed Clayton 3.5" and my steering wheel is so far off center

wow...thanks I was adjusting the tie rod, not the drag link...ugggggg:facepalm:
  14. Installed Clayton 3.5" and my steering wheel is so far off center

Thanks for the feedback. I'll give it a shot. I am having trouble believing I am the only person with a Clayton 3.5" kit that needs a new drag link as I have not seen or heard it mentioned in any of their videos or posts. I assume they'll respond to this thread when they open later today.
  15. Installed Clayton 3.5" and my steering wheel is so far off center

This is as straight as I can get it. And the service stability light are all still on.
  16. Installed Clayton 3.5" and my steering wheel is so far off center

Yes, its unlocked and I had a friend watch the wheel while I adjusted it so I dont think it was going the wrong direction. Not pitman arm. Only adjustable parts are track bars and control arms.
