  1. BDS lift

Do the measurements I posted in this thread help? https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/lift-height-mega-thread.97543/
  2. BDS lift

BDS makes decent stuff. I think the Clayton 2.5” Ride Right is a good deal for the price. I’ve had that lift for about 65k miles now and it’s been great.
  3. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

The I6 might have a slight advantage, but the V8 still makes more torque at peak. Do you know any other I6 vs V8 examples of similar displacement and from the same manufacturer in the same era that we can compare to see if there is truth to an I6 making more torque than a V8?
  4. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

V8s are typically more displacement, but they usually do make more torque. Ford 300 vs 302, the 302 makes more torque.
  5. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

Typically V8s make more torque than I6s.
  6. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

My Gladiator doesn't even have a hitch. 😆 My other truck for towing has a trailer behind it maybe 3-4x per year.
  7. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

Oh yea, the PCM problems with those years. Good thing you hooked up with Mark. You reminded me, I also replaced a crank position sensor in my TJ. I had a 2002 WJ and a 2009 WK that both had quite a few electrical issues.
  8. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

Curious what electrical issues you had with the '06? I've had electrical issues with every Jeep I've owned except maybe the 98 TJ which had minimal electrical parts.
  9. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

What do people say about Ford infotainment and electrical? I haven't read or heard anything. Purely anectdotal, but between the Jeep and Ford in my driveway, the Jeep gives me electrical issues and the Ford doesn't.
  10. 2025 Gladiator radio antenna ???

And the people paying $20/month that don't know they are. 😆 On my last negotiation with them, I insisted the service cancels after the promo period ends so I don't go a few months before noticing I'm paying $20/month. They eventually agreed.
  11. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

If only they could make the 2.0 sound like this.
  12. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

    470 ft/lbs at 3k RPM, nice. 😁 A stock 392 looks to be about 315 ft/lbs at 3k RPM.
  13. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

I'd be interested to see dyno charts if you have images or links.
  14. Tire recommendations?

I've had several sets of Goodyear tires because they treat me well. Good wear and traction. Current set is Goodyear Ultraterrains from Discount Tire. They have 67k miles on them and they've been great.
  15. Tire recommendations?

If you were to go with a 285/70/17, looks like you only get 3 choices with Michelin. I ran the LTX MS2 tires twice and didn't like them either time.
  16. Be honest — who else bought a Gladiator and said ‘I’ll keep it stock’… then immediately ordered parts? 😂

Sure, make it more simple for me. What do you mean "performance mods"?
  17. Be honest — who else bought a Gladiator and said ‘I’ll keep it stock’… then immediately ordered parts? 😂

Why does a mod have to be for performance? If it's for looks, it's not a mod?
  18. (Ram Dakota) midsize pickup truck to be built in Toledo in 2028!

I had a ZF8 replaced at 21k miles and my Ford 10 speed hasn't had issues in 105k miles.
  19. Be honest — who else bought a Gladiator and said ‘I’ll keep it stock’… then immediately ordered parts? 😂

I don’t think “mods” necessarily have to be for performance. Just something you change from original for whatever reason.
