BDS makes decent stuff.
I think the Clayton 2.5” Ride Right is a good deal for the price. I’ve had that lift for about 65k miles now and it’s been great.
The I6 might have a slight advantage, but the V8 still makes more torque at peak.
Do you know any other I6 vs V8 examples of similar displacement and from the same manufacturer in the same era that we can compare to see if there is truth to an I6 making more torque than a V8?
Oh yea, the PCM problems with those years. Good thing you hooked up with Mark.
You reminded me, I also replaced a crank position sensor in my TJ.
I had a 2002 WJ and a 2009 WK that both had quite a few electrical issues.
Curious what electrical issues you had with the '06?
I've had electrical issues with every Jeep I've owned except maybe the 98 TJ which had minimal electrical parts.
What do people say about Ford infotainment and electrical? I haven't read or heard anything.
Purely anectdotal, but between the Jeep and Ford in my driveway, the Jeep gives me electrical issues and the Ford doesn't.
And the people paying $20/month that don't know they are. 😆
On my last negotiation with them, I insisted the service cancels after the promo period ends so I don't go a few months before noticing I'm paying $20/month. They eventually agreed.
I've had several sets of Goodyear tires because they treat me well. Good wear and traction.
Current set is Goodyear Ultraterrains from Discount Tire. They have 67k miles on them and they've been great.
