Per the spec sheet. (edit: spec sheet is for JT)
I believe new JL's are showing up on dealer lots with falken wildpeaks too. (edit: Confirmed, pic from a dealer website for 2019 wrangler unlimited)
can confirm. lol, to be fair ive added at least 60 views to this video... cant get enough of it. im excited to see more, but I want a review from a gear head / jeep guy. I get a bit annoyed with the "automotive enthusiast" review spending more time talking about how the dislike how the back side...
my guess is these will be held to build up some supply. also probably a lot of checks and inspections make sure everything is going well as the line picks up speed.
cost the same to ship a full truck as it does to ship a truck with 2 JTs on it.
in my head it will go Media review on the 31...
i think the red one is just a re-post from when they unveiled it at the plant. (red and the black rubicon).
Multiple postings about the silver one being first customer ready JT, plus there is a video of the silver one driving off the line and where im from pics or it didn't happen and the red...
It is the same teaser as Cars.com.
Will your chair fit in the bed of a JT? I've read online that a 48 inch wide sheet of plywood will not fit in the 50 inch wide tailgate opening.
After re-watcing the launch video, Mike Manley states "3.0 eco diesel will launch in 2019" (17:40) "PHEV will launch in 2020" (20:40). So, they were able to speed up development of the PHEV a full year (no spy shots of strange plugs or parked in EV parking) and shoe horn the BSG in the wrangler...
Can we take a quick brake here and discuss the other interesting statement from the OP?
What do you mean "hybrid engine"?!?!? The 2.0 is already a hybrid so whats the new one?
Are they upgrading to the BSG 3.6?
Do you mean 3.0 eco diesel instead of hybrid? (this is where my money is at)
Are...
I have been searching for what exactly "Late availability" means and its not easy to find. Does anyone remember / can help find the timing on the JL launch? this could point to when we can expect the other colors.
My best guess at this point is that Red, Silver, White, and Blacks will show...
I found this quite interesting. When compared to a dodge Dakota, they are very similar. Overall length is very similar so if you are looking at the size in the real world, have a look there. wheel base is slightly longer, With is similar also.
specs for Gladiator.
Specs for Dakota crew cab...
the big point of the ZR2 shocks is that they are DSSV dampers. Basically they use spool valves inside the damper to control the amount of pressure / damping force. Their selling point is that because of using spool valves, it is has more consistent performance (mostly while being pushed hard)...
there will probably be quite a few differences.
Stock Sport / overland shocks are a twin tube design. they will be shorter because of the ride height and tuned for the smaller tire.
Rubicon are monotube dampers, so the overall length will be longer (for an internal gas separating piston). The...
Im guessing that one could do a better job folding the fabric to get it to lay lower.
I agree, it would look better folded all the way down. The problem I see is that if you lay it all the way down to the top of the bed it could damage the top or cause a bunch of noise. with bed and cab being...
A request for @steffen707 or other with photoshop skills.
In good humor, I request a photoshop of a side shot Gladiator done with the Grand wagoneer wood paneling grafic.... but plywood and not wood grain texture.
sooo this..
plus this..
but with this..
its a bit of a mix between positive and negative and you really can tell without driving, but on paper.. Wider track with will be more stable both on and off road. it will change the motion ratio of the wheel, so dampers could have a different feel either good or bad. Change in scrub radius...
Welcome to the world of wheels! There is a lot to remember and to look at for wheels other then just diameter and with. back spacing and offset are also very important and can have a major impact on how your vehicle drives.
Jeep JK are 5x5 bolt patterns and same for the JL.
For weight, I did...
I would suggest the ZR2, or even the ZR2 bison if you are really trying to avoid "jeep culture" Vs. the jeep gladiator. its mid-size so way narrower then the raptor. (fun fact, the new raptors are just as wide as military Humvee measuring track with) it will probably be cheaper then California...
