If anybody has installed the Shrockworks sliders on your Gladiator, how well do they work as steps? My 5'2" wife definitely wants functional steps before she'll let me swap out our running boards.
I had been waiting for VOD to release their alumimum sliders to keep weight down, but I keep...
After using these disconnects a few times, the thing that I would add to my prior notes is that when you reconnect, you really need to be on very flat ground, or have someone who can help sit on the high side to bring it down so you connect the last sway bar linkage.
He didn’t say that you failed to establish that the vehicle met the conditions of a lemon under the lemon law. Were the criteria that he listed elements of the NC lemon law that you were required to demonstrate in addition to the number of days in the shop? It seems like he made up his own...
Just looking for advice on the Sunrider fabric choice as the Black Diamond is $100 cheaper, plus on a $100 rebate program where the Twill has no current rebate offer. Is there a significant difference in appearance and durability between the two fabrics?
I can't find many buyers who regretted...
Glad to hear it Doug. It's unfortunate the experience has soured you on the Gladiator in general, but if my process had been as difficult as yours I would likely feel the same. Good luck with the decision.
Doug - good luck on Thursday. I went through a lemon law complaint in MD with FCA on my Gladiator this past February, resulting in a vehicle swap and a 7 year extended warranty on the new Gladiator at no additional expense. It wasn't fun, but it worked out.

I changed tires to 34" Nitto Ridge Grappler at the same time, so I can't give accurate before/after numbers, but I'm very comfortable with the ride afterwards.
So I installed the disconnects this weekend, just didn’t get the chance to try them in the field. The installation required some grinding on the driver side bracket to work around a heavy factory weld (which I painted black before final assembly), and a little bit of bending on the passenger...
Just finished installing the new Teraflex sway bar disconnects. Cool thing with these is the new bracket to hold the connectors up and out of the way when disconnected. Not a hard install, but required some grinding for a heavy weld clearance and bending another of the factory brackets to make...
Installed the new Teraflex 1764000 sway bar quick disconnects today. Had to grind a bracket to make room for a heavy factory weld bead, and had to bend another factory bracket to get things to fit, but nothing overly challenging about the install. I really like how this new design gives you a...
We’re billet silver. We spent one day at AOAA and one day at Rausch Creek, both in PA. They were fantastic. I think this weekend we’ll be trying a trail in VA. Do you mind sharing what trails you’ve found in the area that you enjoy?
Good advice, I hadn't thought about their limited value in protecting anything. My 5'2" wife needs a step up, but I assume there are good options for that with still having solid rock rails.
Your fully stock Overland is more than capable of handling forest service roads. You won't even need 4 wd. We did several of them before upgrading. For Colorado I can see where you'd benefit from a better snow rated AT tire.
I just got back from running mostly mid-level greens at AOAA and Rausch Creek in an Overland and it was plenty capable. Would I take it on a blue? Not without a bigger lift and/or better skills, but you would be fine on everything you described. The point made about damage is a good one, you...
