  1. Lowest lift necessary to run 35s on a Willys

Thank you! This is where I was hoping the change in offset from +44mm to +12mm would help. What size spacer did you use?
  2. Offset question for running 35s on a Willys without lift

I am doing as much research as possible and was hoping someone could validate my thinking. I am hoping to run 315/70/17 on my Willys without a lift. I may run spacers. But since the OEM wheel is +44MM offset 7.5 inch rim, will running a 0 or +12mm offset 8 inch wide wheel with the 315's...
  3. Show us your pics! 35s with spacers (non-rubi and non-mojave)

Amen on the potholes! And you make a great point. I just need to do more research on the takeoffs. If I were to go that route, does it then require anything else outside the spacers and springs like shock extensions?
  4. Show us your pics! 35s with spacers (non-rubi and non-mojave)

Love all the pics! Awesome. Seems like a lot of use of takeoff springs. Anyone run just the spacers ?
  5. Show us your pics! 35s with spacers (non-rubi and non-mojave)

What is the saying? "A picture tells a thousand words"? Hoping to see pics of those that are running the teraflex 1.5 or just 1 inch spacer with 35s on the Overland, Sport and Willys editions. There seems to be a ton of interest and questions so thinking a thread with pics would help us...
  6. Tint Gone Bad? How long to give bubbles

Many thanks. Really appreciate the help. Weather has been somewhat cool here and due to where I work the car doesnt get a ton of direct sunlight during the week.
  7. Tint Gone Bad? How long to give bubbles

I recently got my front windows tinted and overall it was not a good experience due to poor communication. To add, there are a good amount of bubbles. This is my first tint, and I know this is somewhat common after a tint but how long should it take for them to go away? It has been...
  8. Lowest lift necessary to run 35s on a Willys

Thanks, that is what I was concerned about. The +12 mm offset with the larger wheel and tire seem to put the wheel almost at OEM distance in the wheel well from the suspesnion and frame according to https://tiresize.com/ I just dont know if there is something else I am not accounting for...
  9. Lowest lift necessary to run 35s on a Willys

Thanks, looking forward to hearing how it works out. Also, any pics would be great! I'll most likely do the 1.5 and the 3/4 daystar in the back.
  10. Lowest lift necessary to run 35s on a Willys

Hoping to grab some info on what the lowest lift necessary would be to run BFG KO2 35s (315/70/17) with jeep performance 8.5 wide wheels +12 offset? Can I get by with a 1 inch spacer in the front or would 1.5 be necessary? Based on my research I think either should work but I...
  11. Need Help! - Finish coming off New Willys Hard Top

Drivers side. No sign of a rock or anything. I haven't even had a chance to take the covers off to enjoy the fact I can, the car is only a few weeks old.
  12. Need Help! - Finish coming off New Willys Hard Top

Thanks. There is no sign of a gouge or anything, just like it's peeling off. I will call the dealer.
  13. Need Help! - Finish coming off New Willys Hard Top

I found this while taking a peak at the top of my hard top for a completely unrelated reason. The rubbery finish is pealing off the hard top. I have no clue how this happened. Was hoping someone has a recommendation for a topical patch product I can use to stop this from getting worse...
  14. Chicago Area Recommendations

Hi all - wasn't sure where to put this but any recommendations based on first hand experience on a reputable place to do things like a bumper replacement, teraflex level and regearing around the Chicagoland area?
  15. Rubicon Mopar Steel 3 Pc Bumper - does it weigh down front end?

Thank you, I was curious how much the stubby would weigh alone. Super helpful.
  16. Rubicon Mopar Steel 3 Pc Bumper - does it weigh down front end?

Thanks for the information! I am ok with some rake, do you think the 1.5 in the front and 3/4 in the back would look decent once just the bumper was on? Or would you just do 1 inch in the front with the 3/4 in the back or would that result in too much rake compared to stock? I have no...
