  1. Does this sound right for tire mounting and balancing

Bought 5 tires on a Walmart sale online around Christmas. Finally got them to a Walmart for mounting and balancing. $100 for all 5. They did a good job, no vibrations and they use torque wrenches for lug nuts.
  2. Dometic CFX misbehaving and fix, a lesson in really thinking your wiring through.

I just put in a new CFX3-55IM (my previous one was stolen) and this weekend was my first trip with it. By default the Battery Protection was set to Medium and it kept turning off on me and wouldn't cool below 45F while driving. Then I remembered I had the issue with the previous one too and...
  3. Any Mojave's with Clayton lifts (or just springs) on them?

    See my post here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/clayton-off-road-jt-suspension-systems.35766/page-59#post-1332201
  4. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Had my 2.5" Overland+ and Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks installed and just got the truck home yesterday. Very pleased so far. Here are a set of pics of my Mojave over time. Stock Added 35" tires and bed rack Fully loaded: RTT, Fridge, Tools, Recovery Gear, Ace Sliders, Alum Armor, Steel...
  5. There's no way they shipped this many winches when I only paid for 1 ...

It happens. I ordered 1 box of 20 rounds of ammo. Sent me 1 case of 10 boxes of ammo.
  6. A consensus on fuel overflow problem?

It may be my imagination but I think when I have the truck on a slight downhill it doesn't overflow. I also run it on slowest mode when finishing up the tank. As usual YMMV
  7. Post Your Jeep "Fleet" Pics!

Wife's '20 JLU and my '21 JT. Enjoy them both!
  8. Rimrocker trail

I would not take a trailer of that length. There are some tight turns.
  9. Using selec-speed control as poor-man’s lockers.

True. I should have added that I'll use 4Lo first gear and pump the brakes myself.
  10. Using selec-speed control as poor-man’s lockers.

Be careful using it down steep grades for long periods. I lost my brakes on mountain switchbacks in CO at midnight. NOT fun! In my opinion I will now use 4LO first gear (and pump the brakes myself).
  11. Learned something new about my Mojave: engine braking?

Lost my brakes at 11pm on mountain switchbacks. Almost went over the edge. Not using that anymore.
  12. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Stock suspension at this point. Thanks for the input. My stock shocks have 60k on them so would probably need to be rebuilt very soon. I'd like to get some adjustability and keep the OEM for spares.
  13. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

I have a '21 Mojave. No rock crawling but moderate overlanding type use. I have about 1000lbs of add-ons including myself always on the truck. Need to get back some suspension travel. What kit and shocks are recommended for such a setup. Will I need a new drive shaft with your suggestion...
  14. Which switch to add????

My sPod BantamX has been great. I like that I only have to run a Cat5 cable into the cab. I like that it shows amp usage for each switch.
  15. Gladiator bed racks

Rebel OffRoad XPLOR Full Height here. Didn't like having the RTT hanging over the back of the bed. Built like a tank.
  16. A-Pillar KC or?

I have the Flex Era 4 and they can be ordered with the Mojave/392 mount as a pkg. They really came thru when I needed them most in Colorado. I had to drive Hurricane Pass and Corkscrew Gulch in the dark at midnight. Really lit things up.
  17. What's everyone doing with their spare tire?

It is a different rim. I bought 5 aftermarket wheels. But you could just buy one matching wheel if you are staying with factory wheels.
  18. What's everyone doing with their spare tire?

Might I suggest always doing a 5 tire rotation? In the event you switch to a different tire size later you won't have wasted a perfectly good tire that now doesn't match the others. Plus your set of 5 tires will last you longer than a set of 4.
  19. Mojave Owners with new front bumpers

I don't have a stubby and I don't think type is the issue. My Quadratec QRC had to have the center portion of the Mojave skid plate notched out to fit. Get the bumper you want and fit the skid plate as needed. I can't even tell my was modified w/o getting under the truck.
  20. Camping with your Gladiator

Great minds think alike? That Airport D site made for great photos with the tower in the background. It was my favorite of the two we stayed at. 2nd was Candlestick. It was a great first overlanding trip. We packed a lot into the time we had.
