Finally purchased a new pair of aftermarket alloy flares/liners and selling my OEM Rubicon front set. They have been cutout for Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks. They are in great shape and have just a couple very small scuffs for 2 years old. I'd give them a 9 out of 10 for condition. I've also upgraded...
Search the Member Marketplace in this Forum... some examples but not many as I think people snatch them up quickly for the right price (i.e. less than MSRP :) )
Yes to all of this! I just did my first initial impression here = https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/new-elite-series-jl-wrangler-jt-gladiator-led-headlights-from-diode-dynamics.64314/post-1094429
Very impressed with everything about these and the overall light output vs OEM and...
I just got my @Diode Dynamics Elite Max headlights installed late last night and I apologize for the not so awesome pics (6 degrees and flurries) Installation was straight forward and I do recommend accessing the OEM blinker harness by pulling back the inner fender liner. Taking the extra 10...
I'm betting on yes and that's why I got rid of my Oculus headlights. I was not impressed with the concentrated beam pattern or hi-beams on the Oculus. The beam pattern is bright, but very focused like a flashlight hotspot. A nice wide spread of light is absent with the Oculus and that's a big...
They are absolute beasts to hold finally. I'm installing them with new Nemesis flares so the full transformation is going to be awesome. Another reason I went with the Max version to retain a DOT approved turn signal since the flares have none.
Thanks for sharing! I understand completely that form is equally important to function :) In terms of the cap height, I assume that it sits slightly taller due to AluCab's method of mounting their RTT. AluCab offers "low profile" mounting feet that attaches the AluCab load bars directly to the...
Honestly I forgot that they were 2-piece until you mentioned it. I installed them 2 years ago with the Rebel Xplor rack and didn't even remember. They have held up just fine and I've had no complaints...even with the 2-piece design :) I wanted to order everything at once to complete the project...
I've got Nemesis Notorious flares and liners coming next week for my Rubicon. I wanted to get away from the plastic look otherwise I would have chopped these with the AAL brackets. The Quadratec's though look like a great alternative to OEM Rubi flares... but they do "force" you to figure out...
Yeah, when I asked AEV about this a while back they said (paraphrasing) that they "tune" the springs so that by the time the rear end hits the same bump that the front just went over the Jeep is in "tune" to that hit as a whole (scientific explanation right?) I've had both Clayton springs and...
@chorky touched on it with this =
Let me ask too, what type of road are you driving on the experience the bounce? My truck has always done this on concrete (or expansion joint roads) from about (50-60mph). Asphalt roads are never an issue. I've been in bone stock Gladiators that do the same...
