At this point, I think Hot Wheels knows I'm a sucker for any Gladiator. I've fallen behind on keeping up with them and Matchbox let alone the others that pop up.
I agree about the help. I can't go over 60 without getting a loud drumming hum from the top. They referred me to #28 but all it says is to check the gap but doesn't tell you what to adjust if there is a gap. Well I've tighten the clamp to the point I have to pull the top down to get the clamp...
Sound like my oldest, got into Rose-Hulman after scoring in the top 1/10 th of percent on the college entrance exam, President of the gun club, bought his first house so he could have a garage to work on his rally car, creates a data base for all big decisions.
First thing I would do is check your cold tire pressure. It is usually way high from factory for some reason, like 5lbs over inflated. That really helped mine when I picked it up in 2019.
Took the Gladiator in Wed., they called today and said the dampener they replaced last fall was bad and it is going to take 20 days to get the new one. So I'm driving with the death wobble for 20 days. Claimed the torque, etc. was good on all the rest of the steering, just a bad replacement...
I went out and looked at mine, I don't have the gap you do. That top plate seems to have been welded a little forward of yours and I really only have a ridge, and not enough room for the plastic to slide into. I will try and get a picture.
What was your process for putting the back window in and I'm guessing that the bottom is just held by the tension in the plastic because there is not a slot like on the corners for the plastic to slip into.
OK, got it on, basically, still have some rough spots. Can anyone tell me if they bolted down their back pillar? I'm having problems getting both top corners to fold over and I can't get both sides to lock into the door. One side no problem, the other I can get in the bottom but when I try to...
Putting mine on now, having trouble figuring out where the clip goes on the drivers side. I think I have it right but it is wedged between the plate and the braket, like it says, just wanted to make sure it doesn't go on top of the bracket with the knob holding it down. For some reason had...
