Same problem, but only this year. But in my case, while the jeep was cold, the fob really wasnt. First time was a few weeks ago. Went out to move it while I was working a job (inside) and it wouldnt start unless I pressed the fob to the switch (but pretty sure the remote unlock worked. I thought...
I was just going by your OP which mentioned it happening while using Waze.
I use Waze virtually every time I'm driving (and I have almost 90k on my Gladiator), but with Android Auto and no Stellantis Nav or Sirius Guardian (I special ordered my Gladiator, and since I use Waze I specifically did...
Yes, he made it quite clear he's BLAMING the head unit, but it's not the head unit that is doing that in his case. It's the navigation app he is using that the head unit is simply mirroring. Waze does those HAAS alerts internally. They are being generated by the app itself in this case. The only...
Unless I missed it, nobody seems to have noticed the OP said he was using Waze for navigation, so he's getting the HAAS alerts from the Waze App, not SiriusXM or Uconnect. I do not think Waze currently offers the option to disable them, and I doubt there is anything Jscan or Tazer could do...
FYI, if your dealer is cool with the Tazer (some even recommend buying one), the newer firmware updates allow you to set the tazer to allow the dealer's programmer tools to pass thru it.
Do you have the speed adjusted volume turned on? That always seemed to be wonky, with or without the Tazer. I could imagine some sort of conflict it that thought you were moving forward at X MPH while also thinking you were in reverse.
Also the park sense interacts with the radio volume. Again...
Unless I missed it, nowhere does the listing actually say it's 8.4" or supply an oem part number. It just says it's an upgrade radio. The 7" is considered an upgrade over the base radio, and does not have nav. Just sayin'...
I dont even remove it to update it. I bring my laptop out to the jeep, plug the cable into the tazer, make sure the jeep is off, no fob, doors closed and wait for the dashboard to turn off. Then I connect the laptop and do the update.
You do not have to unmarry and remarry to make changes or when updating.
basically, when you "marry" the tazer, best I can tell you are doing 2 things.
1: You are locking to your Jeep's VIN, so it can't just be removed/stolen and put in a different one.
2: The tazer makes a backup of all the...
The biggest thing you have to worry about these days with a Tazer is "Follow ALL the directions EXACTLY." It's not something you just plug in and figure it out. If you do that, you WILL have problems. RTFM was never more important here. There are very exact sequences for certain things that if...
If you have kept the firmware in your Tazer up to date, you no long have to unmarry and remove the Tazer befoe taking to the dealer, unless you are concerned that your dealer may be a Richard about warranty issues over it. This feature was added maybe a year or so ago.
Not sure on #1 off the top of my head.
#2 is it is replacing the Security Gateway Module (commonly just called the SGW).
Essentially the module was intended as a firewall between the OBDII diagnostic port and the vehicle's computers that Mopar/ FCA/Stellantis started using in 2018 to block...
Lot's of good tax free cigar shops here. AAMOF, some friends of mine are building what will be the largest cigar lounge in the Northeast in just outside of North Conway, NH.
We'll be in the Stowe/Burlington area. As if I wasn't already kinda annoyed about the whole deal, it looks like there...
Can't say, don't go there very often, I'm on the Maine side of the state. But I also travel a lot to CT via MA, and both of those states are crazy with stuff that's far more corrosive than salt. I wish my Rough Country drop steps held up half as good as the Vision X lights. Three years old and...
