  1. Tru-Trac in front diff?

My side ride is a 2004 WJ with "varilock" LSD diffs front and rear, and the full time 4WD t case. It's amazing in the slick/snow, wish I could have the JT set up like it. Probably not the best for rock crawling, but I wouldn't want anything else for a DD in the northern states. Please followup...
  2. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Mine came from the factory a few degrees off. Over 4 years later and still telling myself I'll adjust it... eventually.
  3. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Harnessed my GoogleFu for ya. They're on a JLU wrangler, but hopefully close enough. https://www.reddit.com/r/Jeep/s/wW1UoHoJSg
  4. So this happened now need replacement grill

You should be able to find a takeoff front bumper for really cheap, people seem desperate to get rid of the plastic ones like yours when they upgrade. As someone else posted, the damaged grill trim piece should be cheap to replace, it can be removed from the grill assembly. The sport grills are...
  5. So this happened now need replacement grill

I'd also at least get it quoted through a couple shops to see if they catch something you miss at first glance, and just let your insurance know what happened in case you decide to go through them. One thing that jumps out to me is to make sure the fog light wires in the bumper didn't get damaged.
  6. Ford Laying off 70% of EV Lightning employees [LOCKED DUE TO FIGHTING & POLITICS]

There are battery recycling centers that break down battery packs (of all types and sizes) to extract the rare metals/materials in them for reusing in new manufacturing processes. I'm not sure how efficient the recycling process is (and if it needs to be gov subsidized to make it worth it for...
  7. Adding extra lights to the bed

I think it was mentioned, but just wanted to caution everyone against adding too large of an amp load to the factory wiring circuit, for a couple reasons: 1: The JL/JTs computers monitor the loads on many of the vehicles circuits, and can cut power if it senses something too out of spec for the...
  8. 2020 Gladiator Rubicon - 1.5 Teraflex leveling kit -Factory Rims - Accessing larger tires

I think when the Gladiator launched the jeep designers did say in some publication/video that they wanted Rubicon owners to be able to fit 35s without suspension modifications, so that's what I'd stick with if trying to keep things stock. The problem is that the Rubicon and Mojave fenders are...
  9. Anybody have a clue what this is?

I'd bet it's just part of the new inventory prep service that dealership does for all vehicles to prepare/cleanup the vehicle for the lot or customer. By installing it right away it's just one more thing they can sneak onto the price sheet to make you purchase. The dealership I bought mine from...
  10. We want to hear from you! - JeepCares

Does, for now. There's a plastic trough/gutter system on the inside of the window near the top that drains water towards the sides of the window. The problem is that the trough cracks over time... guessing it doesn't expand/contract at the exact rate the window it's attached to does, so it...
  11. We want to hear from you! - JeepCares

A hard top rear window that doesn't stress crack leak at the upper interior plastic track. AND when you design and implement the fix, allow current owners to get it done at a reasonable price.
  12. Headlights snowed over

Personally, I've found that upgrading the fogs to Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros solved the issue for me, they don't ice over and when it snows bad and I just turn them on as a backup to the mains.
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

There's definitely something satisfying about some forms of labor. I think it's the problem solver in all of us, and let's gives us opportunity to attack the problem in whatever way we want to solve it, sometimes in a more artistic or efficient way than others. Heck, there's now even video game...
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed my Teraflex 1.5" front spring spacer kit (to compensate for front steel bumper/winch sag) and a local fella sold me his Maximus 3 XLP front hoop bar for $100. I think I finally have my "OEM Plus" look I've been after.

  16. UPDATED: Northridge4x4 Return Policy

Every interaction I've had with @Northridge4x4 has been top notch, and this is icing on the cake. keep it up ?
  17. Best aftermarket bed rails?

I think most tonneaus work with most aftermarket utility rails since the tonneau brackets mount into the bed itself, not the utility rails. But some toppers and racks have brackets with holes/hardware specifically designed to bolt into the OEM utility rails slots, so I've seen people have...
  18. Best aftermarket bed rails?

Keep in mind that aftermarket toppers and racks are designed to work with the dimensions of the OEM rails, and aftermarket rails can differ in shape and slot size for hardware, so you may have to do some modifications for fitting them. Not trying to sway you from aftermarket, just noting a...
