Yes, it is amazing how much the front skid plate disappear with that flat black paint, it took me by surprise.
i’m definitely keeping paint around to address the nicks down the road. For my lower control arms, I had them coat the steel before I painted them.

you come from a beautiful state with great state, parks, and trails, here in Texas it’s a little different in that most property is privately held.
It would be interesting to see if we have covered all the beaches / islands / peninsula on the Texas Gulf Coast. I am guessing we have. It has become a goal of mine (living in the Houston area).

So last week I went to both. High level overview:
1) Northwest OHV is a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail and it is more of a obstacle park with trails as opposed to Barnwell
2) Barnwell has lots of trails with obstacles. You can get lost out here.
As a newbie, I found both beginner trails harder...
