They offered per CA law. But $35k into is less than $72k given back with a useless vehicle given back.

So we have our GC back. The dealer showed us the pricing sheet. The 2.0t engine ALONE was $24,000 billed. Total price $35,000 which did include trouble shooting but mostly was engine and install. These are NOT cheap engines to fix. Be warned.

Engine is in and all bolted up but they are waiting on some 1-time use bolts in the suspension that had to be removed. Probably impacted by the strike. Literally just a few bolts needed to finally end this mess and they're maybe stuck.
