It doesn’t really need much to be perfect, in my opinion. Hemi, factory 35’s, and 4.88 gearing and I don’t think there would be anything to complain about.
My two cents…they went with shit engine options. Really hard to process why they didn’t just go with the 5.7L Hemi. Other than that would...
Like pretty much everyone else…my JTR tires were inflated to 42 PSI when I took delivery. If you just jumped in and ran it down the road, you’d be like “damn, this REALLY rides like shit.”
Don’t get me wrong…I don’t think it rides great (I like it…it’s what I wanted), but it rides MUCH better...
Ok, I took my time tightening them up, but I didn’t know to look for that as I went. The next time I’m puttering in the garage, I’ll loosen everything up and see if I can’t work that wrinkle out a bit. Thank you.
Just installed mine tonight. I’ll just say that I wish I’d found the Quadratec install video first.
Anyways…got it all together, double-checked everything to make sure that the z-clips were set and the rear edge of the deck was tucked.
On that ^ last part…I THINK I got it right. Everything...
How much do these weigh? Weight isn’t really a deal breaker, but just trying to keep track of how much my JT is porking-up. Alu-Cab, heavier wheels, heavier tires, recovery gear, etc.
Edit: Ugh. I see they have it (50lbs each) listed right on the website (“read” it twice before posting and...
It’s not going to look right/proportional. I.e. The picture that @fourfa posted of their temporary setup that’s in the ballpark of what you’re looking to do.
The JT is an absolute land yacht. On 3” or so of lift, 37’s don’t even look THAT big.
Even if they could…for Jeep or RAM, that would end up falling into the realm of “great in concept, poor in execution.”
I can’t be the only person that had an issue with the power sliding window in a RAM. I’m glad the slider in the JT is manual. One less thing to go wrong.
Keep in mind that a good chunk of the reason that they’re having to flex on prices is that interest rates are the rough the roof.
If they can’t offer 0.9-1.9% financing to make the monthly palatable, they’ll have to do it another way. I.e. Drop the price, offer rebates, etc.
I got a thing in...
A tad bit of “poke” looks good, but yeah…i wouldn’t want the BroDozer look.
On the Rubicon dash trim…it looks much better in person. I fully intended to have it wrapped before I picked it up, but it grew on me.
Folks deploy for months at a time and return without tire issues (other than the occasional flat).
I did once return to a dead battery though, lol. As they said above…I’d put it on a battery tender and it should be fine.
Yup. Same here. I may have considered an extended cab with a bit less space in the back seat, but a two door would be a hard pass for me. As with most people.
I think that might have been a neat special order idea (sizable non-refundable deposit required), but I can’t imagine that a dealer...
