Have you measured your overhead clearance? I’ve got an older house and I’ve got ~2-3” to spare with a JTR with 315/70-17’s and an Alu-Cab (takes up another ~1” of overhead clearance). Maybe find some JTR or JTM take-offs to get you by for now.

With your area…I’d be surprised if you’d be happy with 35’s and 4.10’s for long. It’s livable to me (I have 315/70-17’s) in flat areas with a few hills. Steep grades…it’s pretty gutless. If I lived in the mountains, I probably would have re-geared by now.
