Again, you/we/anyone can't be sure until they see an actual vehicle in person. That image of the "Wrangler" is computer generated. There very well could be a new control cluster or new radio bezel that they just don't have a picture of yet. The odds of them releasing a vehicle without a physical...
I doubt it’ll actually show up like that. The manuals frequently don’t match reality, and are updated fairly often. They’re on version 4 or 5 of the 2021 manual.
I do t think there’s as much sag as it looks like. The new fender flares appear to be lower and smaller than the factory ones, giving it the appearance of sag.
I had the 12" screen in my 2020 Ram 2500. It looks nice, but was full of issues. The most frequently annoying was that they took the physical heated seat and steering wheel buttons away, so you had to either go into a menu or add them as icons on the bottom row. Carplay frequently disconnected...
Obviously it’s worth it. I mean, according to the listing “With the keyless entry system on this 2021 Jeep Gladiator you can pop the trunk without dropping your bags from the store”!
My Gladiator doesn’t even have a trunk, let alone one I can open with the keyless entry. I drop my bags from the...
Weight savings is the usual reason. Steel bumpers are ridiculously heavy. I plan on installing a winch inside my plastic bumper as well. I’ve already got tow hooks, so there’s recovery points taken care of. Jacking points on a bumper are unnecessary 90% of the time, especially if you avoid...
Yeah, it’s going to be painfully slow compared to stock unless you like driving it at redline. The efffective tire size is basically that top “wheel” plus the thickness of the belt. So maybe 18”?
My bypass and OBDLink MX+ have been plugged in for 6 months straight with no issues. Had them in for over a year straight on my 2020 Ram 2500 as well. No need to disconnect any of it unless you need to plug something else in to the port.
That’s pretty normal, especially if you’re hitting them at speed. It’s just the hydraulic bump stops doing their thing! If you weren’t in a Mojave you’d hear a much less pleasant sound.
There’s gotta be a weak link somewhere and unless you’re on a sheet of ice I guarantee it’s not going to be traction.
Most likely you’ll pop a u-joint if you try to turn with those on pavement with lockers engaged.
If you’ve got a modern Jeep and it’s not comfortable to dive at over 80 then someone has jacked something up with the suspension. It’s going to inhale gas at that speed, but there shouldn’t be any ride concerns. We covered half of Idaho with 80 MPH speed limits at about 5 over because of a time...
The Leer cap I had on my Ram had those switches. Nice call putting them on your Alu-Cab.
I just got a set of the redline hood struts and hadn’t considered using those switches for a hood light. That’s a brilliant idea!
I had the rotary shifter in my Ram 2500. I got used to it after a little while and it was nice that there wasn’t an unnecessary stick taking up console space. If you think about it there’s no logical reason to have a stick on an automatic vehicle.
After I traded it in for the Gladiator there...
