I posted this in the Alu-Cab canopy thread, but thought it could be useful in the lighting section.
These are Stabilus EZ-switch gas strut activated switches that I installed on my Alu-Cab canopy door gas struts. I tied all the switches together, that way they all will activate the canopy lights from any door. I did this to make it basically impossible to leave the lights on by accident. At some point I will modify all the lights to work independently and also have a master off switch for leaving the doors open when the lights are not needed.
I also utilized one of these switches under the hood since I installed Redline hood lift struts. I removed the factory hood prop to mount the lights, since it is not needed anymore. The lights are Harbor Freight rock lights.

I have more of these switches available and will be listing them in the Marketplace if anyone is interested.
