funny, i think there is a link somewhere to the max modular ones. I had seen those and totally forgot about it. I agree that those would probably work right out of the box. They are more square... and I agree these look very "industrial" - or maybe the word might be "commercial" - like it's more...
try it out next time you're in the car with it off. lock it with the fob and see if the unlock on the door works.
If it does, try it one more time and wait for the radio and dash to go off.
Ok. so I did just confirm that once you activate the alarm by pushing the lock button on the fob, the unlock button on the door is disabled.
I got in the truck, hit lock and waited till the radio shutoff and the dash shutoff. Pushing the unlock button did not unlock, it did make the radio and...
Not that I am aware of. Locking with the fob also activates the alarm. If I’m not mistaken, the unlock button on the doors does not work when the alarm is armed... let me see if I can confirm that....
Even if it did, it’s not going to disarm the alarm, so the alarm will go off if someone uses...
Basically you need a water tank, a pump, a faucet, some kind of basin, and something to collect the water going down the drain.
There are lots of options out there. There are expensive options even, and some DIY stuff. Google "camping sink" or "overlanding sink"..... I think it will give you...
I've gone down this same path as you and I'm frustrated that all the current options for tonneau covers go to the outside edge of the bedrails.
What I've personally decided is to focus on the inside of the bed for now (as I mentioned before), in hopes that in a few months we'll see different...
oh snap. good write up. give me a few to digest.
@Bobs85Reny is another good resource. Him and I are actually working on some stuff below the cover... but at some point we are going to work on the same: something above the cover.
you're right @steffen707 I ain't got time to make a video...
@Kjm18 @jimcald do you guys know about the "weekend warrior" position? Basically that is where the tonneau is latched and locked, but the very last section of it is still folded open. (I think it also means that the tailgate is in the...
And you have the soft roll up tonneau? It actually doesn't take a great amount of force to pull it up. It's just a rubber weather seal smushed up against the tailgate that holds it down.
c'mon guys! don't poop on my dreams of soft cover engineering! :crying:
Yes - totally you are both correct. But vandalism is a far stretch from simply pulling up a loose cover.
