I want to revive this. I was hoping to find something lower profile in the snorkel arena. I do not like the mopar one. The Hauk Offroad Snorkel would be cool. But I think it won't fit with the Genesis Dual Battery kit, or it will be a tight fit. The Rugged Ridge XHD seems interesting - but...

I like how the bracket here sort of disappears. They are not huge and seem to fit the lines of that area of the hood.

I'm thinking the same... putting something too close to the front that protrudes up will be seen by the sensor. That said... I believe there is a way to disable all of it... EDIT: yes there is, in the uconnect settings you can turn FCW to "Off" or even just "Warning Only"

That low temp solder is pretty cool. Had not seen that yet. I wonder if they have something for T splices. If I'm doing this type of work for a client, yea, I will solder, but just for me, the posi-locks are perfect.
