Im with you, but I’ll add I’m not a fan of most midsize trucks going to a turbo 4 cylinder either. I keep a good eye on the market in case I can find a deal and I’m just not a fan of most of the engines out there right now. Since I tow so much, I’ve been beating around the idea of stepping out...
I treat every spot of rust i find with rust converter then spray over that with black engine paint once its dry. Both are in rattle cans. My wifes JLU and my JT have immaculate undercarriages! I usually time it for when im doing oil changes i check for spots.
there will always be some rust...
If you can get it fixed under warranty, I would go that route first. I had both of mine replaced under warranty a few months apart.
I have the brackets in that Amazon link on both of my visors and my wife’s and haven’t had a single one pop out since putting them up
Id look at geometry correction brackets at a minimum, but if your off roading adjustable LCAs if they aren’t included in your lift. The control arms will get your caster back into spec so it doesn’t drive like trash after turning it into a bro-dozer.
Nothing wrong with that! It’s about gains and losses anyway. Im also in tesla but not as much. I’ve gone more into emerging markets like companies that specialize in “electrifying America” so groups that set up charging networks and create the components needed to do that. Been moderately...
im pretty heavily invested in rivian and i feel this every time I check the stock prices ?‍♂️ hopefully they come out the other side of this. I really line the company and their concepts.
Gas or diesel?
3.73 or 4.10?
any other upgrades? Pedal commander / intake / exhaust / bumpers / ext. ?
driving habbit changes?
severe weather?
also..you were getting 20mpg on 37s !?
not long ago i got a set of mopar performance rock rails for my wife’s JLU and was really impressed. They look great, stick out far enough to stop road mess from slopping onto the doors, but DONT stick out so far as to be a pita when getting in or out of the jeep.
This actually takes me back to a question I dont think we ever figured out as a group. Of the spring #s that come on the max tow..is one set stiffer than the rest? Not en experiment im willing to do at the moment as im still in the middle of this silly grill one, but Id be curious about it.
I dont think they ever actually listed the stiffer springs. I know we all sorta figured it out on the forum by comparing the actual spring part numbers. But my memory could be way off ?‍♂️
2020 sport w/max tow
Bought it in 2019 with 100 on the clock
101,000 now
LOTS of towing miles between my first TT @ 4,000lbs and my current TT @ 6,000lbs
some minor stuff that was all covered by warranty.
at 60k it may be a stretch but see about an extended warranty out to 100k, if...
