The first four tires I purchased were made in the USA. The spare, which was purchased a week later from Amazon instead of the online retailer I purchased the other four from, was made in Japan. So strange.
I wonder how they handle the replacement when the tires are purchased online and installed by the customer and not a shop. Oh well, as long as the dates listed on the document are correct, I won't have to worry about that.
What's an alignment? I installed my lift in December of last year, and after almost 10k miles, still no alignment. I did not touch my tie rod, so everything was nice and straight. Just had to adjust the drag link to straighten up the steering wheel.
You could ask 100 different Jeep owners what tire brand, model, and size they recommend and get 100 different answers. Tires are one of those things that not many people agree on. The tires you hate may be loved by the next guy. If you like Michelins, get them. I understand. I will only buy...
Yeah, I was joking. I knew a guy who worked with my dad who had several brand new ones in the late 70s and early 80s. My dad used to make fun of his jacked up, 4wd car with woodgrain on the sides.
Yep, same here. When I disconnect the sway bar, the shocks are the limiting factor. I want to find longer aftermarket shocks that have the same characteristics as these, but I feel like I'm going to have to spend a ton of money.
