  1. Now this may be my next Exterior Mod. "GLASS" Sun Roof

I hate the sun in my face. That is why I don't like sunroofs. For that kind of money, I would just get the Sunrider in canvas. I don't have it but want it. I would use it on cloudy days or sunny but chilly days. But it does look cool though. But with black leather seats, not for me.
  2. Anyone using Trutrac front or rear

I do but not on my JTR. I have a '92 Wrangler YJ with front and rear TruTracs. That thing is unstoppable, mostly, if you are not lifting tires in the air too much. If you do just modulate the brakes. I'm sure that on the JT with the EBL they would be fantastic.
  3. Leveling my JT?

If I remember correctly, they were Daystar.
  4. Stock Height Suspension Upgrade for JTR

When I take my YJ offroad I am usually the slowest of the group. I tell people I want to get there in one piece, with my teeth still attached and being able to hear.
  5. Stock Height Suspension Upgrade for JTR

Having owned over 40 cars, including a Jaguar XJR with air springs (soft cushy ride when needed), 2 Mini Cooper S with suspensions made out of solid granite, a BMW X3 with the same granite suspension feel of the Mini and a '92 Wrangler YJ which will rattle your teeth fillings off, I think my JTR...

I think that is because I am a member of the group. Sorry about that. Admin, can you delete the thread?
  7. Found a 1971 Gladiator for Sale.

Browsing on Facebook, I found this little gem. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/162beUFrnN/?mibextid=wwXIfr I wish I could buy it but if it's a solid no from my wife.
  8. Any plug and play harnesses for adding a sub to factory system?

I don't think there is a plug and play harness. Before the current JTR, I had a Willys and installed a 6" bass tube under the rear seat. I used a Kicker LOC KISLOC2 with remote to turn on the amp and a Scosche Install Centric ICAK8. Some LOCs don't come with it. The one I used senses current...
  9. Clean and ready for warmer weather!

It came with a Dick Cepek lift. I'm thinking it is a 3.5 inch lift. I've been contemplating a new lift and shocks. I checked yesterday the rear leaf spring bushings and from the outside they looked good. I pushed the vehicle from side to side while observing the springs and the mounts and I...
  10. Clean and ready for warmer weather!

This thing just runs. Only one time it didn't want to start and that was the starter which was going bad before I bought the YJ. A guy helped us by giving it a tug with his truck and we got it running. The new starter went in in about 20 minutes.
  11. Clean and ready for warmer weather!

On the highway, my YJ loses about 1-2 mph, if I'm above 65mph on 5th going on an overpass. The 4.88 gears and mods help. Before the engine mods it would struggle to get to 65mph, after engine mods but before gears it would get to 70mph or 75 with a tail wind with the 33s. After the gears of...
  12. Clean and ready for warmer weather!

They are cool and fun but for short drives. The ride can be punishing and it is loud.
  13. Clean and ready for warmer weather!

I'm suspecting the steering linkage or steering box.

  15. New Color for 2025 called 'Joose'

Damn it! That is my favorite color.
  16. 2025 Easter Jeep Safari Gladiator Concepts Unveiled

Maybe aftermarket outfitter will take notice and come out with something similar for the JT.
  17. 2025 Easter Jeep Safari Gladiator Concepts Unveiled

Convoy for me. I wish Jeep goes that route for the new Gladiator front end.
