Well it took six months but after a long ordeal with re-gearing and flawed stock axle, ordering a spicer Dana 60 but needed 5 lug mounts and the shorter width of my stock axle, it is in.
I finally have 4.56 gears and no whine I think. I missed my truck so much. I did get a good deal on a 2016...
Finally paid mine off. Got the letter yesterday. Didn't know I was there yet. I've been putting everything I could on the payment. It's over. Monday I finally get my axle installed. I ordered it in July. Miss my truck.
The orange wire is a demon. I put mine in over two years ago. I don’t remember the details but repinning that plug was stupid. I ended up jumping the orange wires together I think. Everything worked after that. I have a tazer, no dealer programming.
While waiting for my axle for my Gladiator, I bought a 2016 2 door manual. I love it but the back seat is useless. I took it our and put a Tuffy storage enclosure in. I'm gonna use it for work and keep the miles off my truck. Nowhere near as comfortable to drive on a trip but it's a blast...
Don't sweat it. There are those that will take the free train ride and those that will not. He seems like the one that will not. I am with him. Ride on brother.
thank you. I figured it was probably low power. i know the genesis is overkill. I don’t trust the aux thing. It’s been a problem since I bought it. I love the truck otherwise.
I have had problems with the stupid aux battery since new. Dealers suck and never really fixed it. I have been waiting for an axle for months but have been starting it every few weeks to keep the batteries charged. It has sat for about three weeks and I went to start it, its dead. I mean...
I added my gladiator to it. For shits and grins I put the VIN for my 2016 Rubicon and it said it added. Doesnt show up anywhere though. I don't really care because Uconnect is kind of useless anyway.
Sadly, I am still waiting on my axle. I bought a 2016 2 door Rubicon manual for a good price I think. This Gladiator re-gear has cost me over 35,000 so far LOL. But, I have a spare Jeep now.
Get the LED package. It is the best option. Snow and ice do build up on them but I guess it would depend on how much it snows where you are. If I living in a heavy snow area, I would figure out how to heat them. Still, I can see way better than with the muggle lights.
it has 74,000 miles on it but its really clean. I don't the previous one owner took it Offroad. I paid 29,000 and I paid 3k for a 4yr/150,000 bumper to bumper warranty with towing, etc. I think it was a great deal but I also needed something to drive while I am waiting on my Gladiator axle...
