I’m not using it for a winch. I think it was designed as a multi purpose setting but the feature is called winch speed.
Using for a winch as noted by Jaydebe the 2000 rpm setting will maximize alternator output so that you don’t kill the batteries while winching.
Personally, I believe full load...
You can also set the winch speed from 1250 rpm to 2000 rpm, or anywhere in between.
I have mine set at 1450 and use it as a high idle function. Next time in the Tazer I will likely lower it to 1250.
Lots of waves here in Central Alberta.
And, the sales lady told me when I signed the order docs to get ready to wave to lots of Jeeps.
I was already aware, and it is true here. Very few don’t wave.
Well mine is similar, it sounds like a low moan as if a hydraulic system is hitting relief but without squeal or whistle. Apparently it is a wheel bearing. We shall see.
I had this type of sound last week and thought it was from the power steering pump or motor.
The dealer diagnosed it as a failing FL wheel bearing.
Parts on order, replacement on Wed.
Not sure what you mean about the cold affecting the emissions system. Perhaps you could elaborate.
I put 40k on a Ram 1500 over several very cold winters = -40c at times. Cold starts at -30c after being parked for a week, and had no issues. This was the last Gen of 3.0.
This Gen so far seems...

According to my insurance group the Gladiator has no experience with theft so the rates are low right now.
If there are many stolen then the rates will go up to reflect that.
The agent said that Ford f-250 and f-350 are paying the highest due to theft.
So perhaps a 4 runner has some rate class...
I had a look through the drivers info system today for the hour meter.
I was sure I saw it there at delivery, 6 hours roughly.
It was on my Ram 1500 diesel so I have to believe it is there also on the Jeep.
I’m going to look again.
I have the steering whine that developed on Sun. Every time I turn the wheel to the left the power steering pump whines. It will not whine when I turn to the right, but as soon as I go back to center, or turn left and return to center from left it whines. Weird.
Took it to the dealer, took the...
