on all of the Gladiators (and Wranglers) that I've ever seen have a light at the base of the cup separator. It shines outward from the center. You'll need to add some slits at the bottom. Maybe yours is burnt out? Unless that's a feature that didn't get exported to the Chinese market?

Oops missed that.... The only other thing I've ever heard pop like that is a loose lug nut... but that's not behind your skid plate. Maybe they jacked up the swaybar disconnect when installing the lift.

Well, I'd be losing my mind on them.... But the silver lining is that you can push for a replacement and then get them to install a true track. They'll make you pay for the true trac but the install will save you a lot.
