This definitely will make it easier to remove the Tazer before service issues.
On a side note I just had my first oil change and they didn't say anything but I doubt they ran a ECU reader.
Bringing this thread back. Is there any simple fix?
I'm going to be taking her in for the first oil change soon, so it might not be an issue I need to take care off...
I know there are are threads about CB antenna mounts in the front, I am specifically looking for a rear bed option. It must be compatible with a tonneau cover.
Am I looking at custom fabing a aluminum bracket or are there pre-existing options?
Had a chance to had this budget lift installed recently. Appears to have preserved stock driving characteristics for the most part.
Maybe less "floaty" then before. Can't tell if it's my imagination or not. LOL.
The hard part was getting the kit itself.
Jeep is going to charge 25k? Pure speculation I suppose. The 6.4 is a mass produced engine that is everywhere. The price MSRP difference between say a Grand Cherokee Summit and an SRT is only 15K. Still steep but probably more likely in economies of scale.
I'd push to have them pay for a new bumper and diminished value. The rear bumper should be removed to check for mounting bolt/frame damage etc (unlikely)...
Yeah, really a V8 in the current or new chassis would be tempting. It looks literally plug and play based on swaps by America's Most Wanted 4x4 but the cost of entry is prohibitive. A factory option would make a lot of sense.
This is the truth, once you have to replace a tire in the middle of nowhere in an off camber situation. You learn your lesson the next time on what recovery gear to carry.
I guess it's a conundrum for buyers looking for more factory power. In the next couple of years, I suspect options of a 392 and even a 4xe version of the Gladiator are in the works. I'm not sure Diesel is going to have lasting power...
