  1. Texas Check In

Ahh - I never went into the Texas subforum, just this thread because I'm following it. So I guess I need to check that subforum more often.
  2. Rubi Rhod - A 2020 Gladiator with flair for the overland-dramatic

I also like how you mounted your Midland. I got one for Christmas and I haven't gotten around to mounting it yet. Does the antenna work well enough off the hood like that? And how is the remote box secured under the steering column - is it screwed to something or just sorta zip-tied in there...
  3. Rubi Rhod - A 2020 Gladiator with flair for the overland-dramatic

Thanks for the front-side comparison of the stock bumper with the Venator. That's the bumper I'm looking at getting and I'm already pretty tight in my garage as it is, with just six or seven inches to spare. It looks like the Venator only adds a few inches to the length so that should work...
  4. Texas Check In

I didn't even know such a thing existed until I saw this post. I just moved to Texas this past summer at the same time as I got my JT, so I'm not read in on the events and stuff. Can't make it this year but I'll plan on being there next year!
  5. The last Gladiator Tailgate Badge You Will Ever Need!

This is exactly what I want my tailgate to look like!
  6. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

Is there any benefit to doing it one way or the other?
  7. Introducing Jeep Adventure Academy! School to Provide Essential Off-Roading Instruction to Jeep 4x4 Owners and Enthusiasts

Thanks for the heads up that they opened dates for this year. I signed up for Saturday 10APR in Texas!
  8. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

Your link for the wire doesn't work. Also, what kind of diode do we need to connect the lights to both the AUX and backup?
  9. Craig Benner 6% Under Invoice at Koons Jeep

I bought my JT from a different dealer closer to home, but when I was searching for a good deal (while I was in Afghanistan, no less) Craig was very helpful and upfront with pricing. If it weren't for the fact that I got a comparable price from a local dealer I wouldn't hesitate to deal with...
  10. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

I just ordered a set! I got them without the PNP harness because I'd like to hook them up to my switches and the reverse lights both and I'm assuming the PNP harness makes that more difficult. How hard will it be to figure out for someone not electrically inclined? Also, how much wire is there...
  11. Re-engineering the brick (keyfob)

For the "put it on a key ring" crowd, I hate carrying anything extra, so I don't want to carry a key ring with me everywhere. That's the joy of keypad locks at home/work, and a keyless entry system that just stays in my pocket. But I guess if the key is in the truck nobody can steal the truck...
  12. Re-engineering the brick (keyfob)

Are you ever going to make a version that includes a way to carry the physical key in it as well?
  13. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

Have you finalized the integration into switches/backup lights yet? Will they be only switched, only back-up lights, or both?
  14. Enabling auto high beam

Not sure which package it was a part of (I have most of them) but my Gladiator built around May/June 2020 has auto high beams enabled.
  15. Schnebly Hill Trail, AZ, Badge of Honor Trail

This is so true - we drove it this past summer right after I got my Gladiator and before we moved from Arizona to Texas, and the Pink Jeep folks just looked miserable in the heat/dust getting jostled around. It was good for us because we took it slow and stopped a lot to take pictures, but at...
  16. Did you buy a Jeep that is a truck or a truck that is a Jeep?

I was going to buy either a Gladiator or a Tacoma, so I was looking for a truck. We have a Grand Cherokee, so we already had a Jeep. Now we just happen to have two...
  17. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

I'd be in for B. How hard would it be to wire them to come on automatically with the backup lights but also be switchable?
  18. GOBI, please take my money!!!

Yeah, how many people who are going to put on this rack still have OEM rails?
  19. Best Combo Rock Slider Rail and Step

I have the Rockhard 4x4 sliders angled down, and I put on some anti-slip traction tape that I got at Amazon. The roll I got was 4 inches wide and 60 feet long. I just cut strips to go in between the attachment points.
