The prices suck.... I won't put Yukon anything near my Jeep after yesterday.....and I'm going to share on every post. forum, etc. so hopefully no one has to deal with this crap. That's a Yukon bearing and pinion that disintegrated with no warning under the rigorous abuse of driving to work...

From my experience, I'd say avoid Yukon like the plague. Lots of reported issues. They only have a 1 year warranty. The pinion gear grenaded with no warning after about 40k miles (50 k total on the Jeep) while I was driving to work (yesterday - 12/16/2024). That second pic is inside the diff...

of course if you have a JTR takeoff axle in the greater PA/DE/NJ/MD area we can talk too since I can get 5.13 gears put into it.

I live chatted with Yukon and they have a laughable 1 year warranty against defects. You can buy an extended warranty… another red flag.

Good call. These were Covid parts and at the time supposedly had a good reputation. I see now that was all smoke and mirrors. I’ll use Spicer - USA made next time.

ugghhhh. 5 years and 50,000 miles and Yukon Gears 5.13 failed. No warning, driving to work and noise started. Towed it to the shop. I'll share pics of the diff once I get them but it sounds bad - might be going with a new/used complete axle.

This sux. I haven’t seen any issues in my 2020 M/T Rubi at 50k miles with a CF Clutch …in sand numerous times, in mud, in rocks…. I had the first clutch / computer recall done. I’m never going back to a dealer unless I absolutely have to.

50 k miles and going strong I had a 4x4 shop replace my axle seal while I was getting it regeared and he got Jeep to reimburse him under warranty so I never paid and don’t know what it cost. The gear change labor was $600. He already had it apart so not much additional labor. Of course, once...

Probably not going to hear about many 4.10 gear changes. It’s just not enough to be meaningful and costs the same. My stock manual Rubi was not adequate - should have been 4.56 gears. Easier way might be to find Rubi take off axles and replace them. Good luck ! by the way the stick clutch also...

I got the dual friction - the heavier duty version. It definitely is heavier, more truck like. The other one is supposed to the same as stock feel.
