    I left the aux battery in place when I did the aux delete, no issues. In the future, I might dig in there and remove the aux battery.

    Yes I have the stock gas strut. Itā€™s behind the driver side blinker. I have one of those HDPE tailgate covers which adds quite bit of weight. So the tail gate ā€œSwingsā€ down a bit faster with the stock gas strut.

    Upgraded to a larger gas strut to my Gladā€™s tailgate. A subtle change when the tailgate "Swings" down. Instead of a THUD, itā€™s a tiny thud. When closing there is a huge difference in the lift assist.
