Add one more vote for DV. My favorite place to go. These are from our last trip just before I sold the JK in December and ordered the JT. Probably headed back again end of September or early October. You can make it as easy or difficult as you like. Lots to see. Huge park so you do have to do...
If you haven't seen it watch the Long Way Up.

They beat the crap out of those trucks. Not saying it is a JT replacement, but they didnt seem afraid to abuse them. At one point one of the wheels essentially got torn away from the chassis and there were some cold weather...
I ordered from BAM and got two front rights. Replacement sent fairly quickly (after several chats and email). Actually worked out bc I only had to order one more front to put them on the rear. Going to be my weekend project to get the rears done.

Got off a little early today and...
I used a Cool Tech mount for my GMRS and painted it black. It's ok for lighter antennas.

I installed these on my Ram. The ring at the top clamps around the lip that holds the bumpstop. the bottom bolts on to the crash plate. Imagine whatever spacer they make will go on the bottom. They are super easy to install. With the JT bump stop being outboard of the spring my guess is it is...
I have both right now, 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x. I LOVE driving the JT and love driving the Ram.
Similar problem, keep thinking I might sell the Ram then I drive it and dont. Family loves it. Roomy, wifi, hauls lots of stuff and pulls our TT no problem at all. May take it to Carmax to see what...
I put a pedal commander on my JTRD (took it off my Ram 1500 - same model). Works great, but seemed like it reduced my mileage quite a bit. I am sure that was in part to me driving it faster. Definitely helps with the lag. Split the difference between peppy and mileage. Turn it all the way up to...
Made some new awning brackets today. Sold the OVS awning that is posted earlier in this thread - too big and heavy. Had this Rhino Rack Batwing from my JK. You have to deploy legs with it, but it is better sized for a jeep. Brackets sit on top the cross bars. Wanted it out and a little lower.
Looks like an epic trip! We keep talking about this trail, but I for sure need to add a couple more skids!! Tentatively planning for next summer.
Thanks for sharing such a great adventure.
Made a Rotopax mount for in the bed. Had the Rotopax, mount and piece of aluminum flatbar in the garage. Just need a couple track bolts to mount. Will fill it up and give it a test in a few weeks on the next trip.
Xtreme Rubicon fender flares. Was a snafu with Mopar Genuine Parts and they sent me two front rights and no front left. Finally got the left and put the fronts on. Decided to add fronts on the rear for more coverage and ordered an additional front left. Will install and post some pics when the...
Maximus3 rear steps. There are cheaper options but I really liked these. Solid and easy to install over the factory slider. Makes it easy to reach the roof.
Havent updated for a bit. A few little things done and a Big Bear trip with the family and the dog. Was able to use the winch to pull out a Taco high centered when he should have taken the bypass. My friend taking his JL through the spot where the taco was stuck. Interestingly the group he was...
Thanks for the tips, yep it all seems to be correct. Adding the extra length allowed me to keep the connectors under. Don't really need to access those since you can just unplug the end on the wiper blade. Tried a few times in different ways and the lines were just too short. The overall hose is...
Sorry, ordered a cheap Amazon washer line repair kit for the hose and connectors. Did not have any laying around.

Got the repair kit and added 8 inches to each end. That was more than needed but let me secure the hosing under the cowl a little farther back and the snap connections stay under the cowl as well. They work really good! Less fluid must be related to not having to spray the windshield as much...
