I was a responsible adult at 18, and my sons were as well. At that age, you can join the military........ that's a very adult thing, or it will sure make an adult out of you!
So to me, it's not a matter of letting.
I bought my first car at 14, my second at 16, and I had a pickup and car both by...
I looked up in NHTSA and checked the dates - mine was built in the spring of 2025 and my wife's 26, in December 2025 so both are after the 2024 cutoffs.
Whew.
Now to keep my perfect never going off-topic record, I cleaned up the wiring on the trailer winch setup and started making the cables to...
I fully expected my 25 to be involved....... I've not read their cutoff dates and so on.......
But - both our 25 JTMX and 26 JLUR come up clean.
Odd..........
Yup - and you find the hemi JLU is not rated to tow as much as a 3.6 JLU. I've tried and tried to get that across and you get "but but but ........." and "not everyone tows". Well, enough DO tow that it was very important to Jeep to make sure it could say "best in class" year after year. Yes...
I have a solenoid from Warn to connect my front bumper winch. It's held up nicely over the years.
I didn't want battery power to the back end, unswitched, so figured no harm in tying into the output side of the solenoid for the big Apex up front - so if I hit aux 3, it powers up the front winch...
This is indirectly for the JT - as I pull this trailer with the JT and want to power the little winch on the trailer with the truck. So, I am making it so that I can either use a battery on the trailer, or my truck.
I have a connector mounted in the truck bed.... (wiring run along frame from...
I can relate. And I suspect with a bit of thought I could have done it all in that plate and not the tailgate proper - meaning replace plate and all would be good. But - what I did with my others when trading them was put black screws in the rivnuts - almost hiding the mod if you didn't pay...
This is the 3rd JT this ladder has been mounted on. A Christmas gift from my wife for my 1st JT - 2020.
So it's been in a 2020, 2022 and now a 2025 JTMX
5mm rivnuts (stainless) and four 5mm stainless screws. Stainless washers act as spacers under the plate. It just clears my tonneau cover latches!
You've never met or interacted with someone with severe ADHD, or perhaps people from Russia? (Russians speak in such an animated way that everyone at work thought the Russian officers were always angry and losing it)
It's called ANIMATED SPEAKING.............
I broke one with a 16" breaker bar and no cheater pipe.
So I have an induction heater.
The service manual for the body bolts even says to use an induction heater and shows one in use (thanks to a forum member - but it was too late when he showed me)
Most go ok, so don't get freaked out. But...
NOTHING to do with the 4xe at all.
Why? Because it was in Ram trucks, too. Identical panel.
Don't worry, I suspect the pain won't last long.........
The Ford had space for such things - the JT would not, so there is that.
Mine charges in the 14s most of the time unless I have driven it a lot or for a while, then drops to 13.4 unless I put the charger on it (don't drive often these days - no reason to)
Anyway - unless that battery is an AGM - DO NOT DO THAT.
The IBS is also figuring on the two batteries of the...
Same issues? EXACTLY? So we don't have to go back and read a whole thread - what is the problem on YOUR Jeep?
If they did not fully charge the batteries BEFORE putting them in the vehicle and reset the IBS afterwards, then that could be a problem, they may have blown a fuse............ rather...
Can''t say without some true troubleshooting. Just because someone replaces batteries doesn't mean they know what they are doing, or do it right.
Any dealership that says what that one said - well, maybe the same tech that told me my winch was the problem (sitting with the disconnect switch off...
Yeah. I did ask but ......
And repeaters only cover in the house. So once I go outside or do the garage (not attached) loss of the one bar I do get now and then. Sad as USCC had me covered on the whole property, inside and out.
Now to find the link to the post where the fellow modified his...
No, they don't.
I asked because Verizon used to supply such things when our remote offices didn't have cell service. Of course, when the office internet was down, they had no phones OR computers.
It wouldn't matter if you didn't have internet service. (I managed remote connectivity, phones and...
I'm not alone - some hide the issues behind tucking seals and it's human nature to suggest something others love is just fine for them, too. Even Bestop has said others have the same issues, and no, it should NOT fit that way. Their words, I have the emails from them. They admitted to problems...
Since my wife has a Gladiator without a box on the back, (a JLU) and it's identical save for the length, and she's familiar with it all and has not had an accident since she was a teenager (and that one wasn't even her fault).......... besides, what's mine is hers, what's hers is mine. We both...
It matches up with T-Mobile taking over USCC and now half the time we have no phones here. T-Mobile says that's just how it's going to be. Was with USCC 35 years, good phone service in the sticks, they were even our home internet for quite a while. Good thing fiber finally came through or we'd...
