  1. Best mirrors for cruising doorless?

Over the years I have settled on the Rugged Ridge mirrors for driving. https://ruggedridge.com/trail-mirror-kit-round-pair-18-18-jeep-wrangler-jl-jlu.html Functional and don't vibrate. The ones that mount in the door hinge slots vibrate a lot. However, for wheeling, mounting a mirror in the...

  3. Snorkels

Then don't do it that way. There are other options (which are better as they also remove particulate matter and discard it before it hits the air filter)
  4. Gladiator Sport with Dana 44s?

M210 and M220 (Rubi, Sport S w/ max tow), M186 and M200 (Sport, Sport S, Overland) are indeed all Dana 44
  5. Good base model for a build up

I don't think it matters with the JT like it does with the JL. JTs all have Dana 44s front and back. JLs have D30s/D35s in all save Rubis.
  6. Apparently Gladiator competition is coming.... Ford Bronco Pickup

The best crawler I ever had was my 59 Willys. It had a flathead 4 Hurricane engine, all of 72 hp. It was geared low though, and shift into 4 lo it would crawl anywhere at 5mph. Could not stop it. Put 5.13s or 4.88s in your rig and you will have all the power you want. Engine is fine; the...
  7. Order or Buy from Stock?

I ordered. I got exactly what I wanted and didn't pay for options I didn't want.
  8. A week plus from Toledo to central pa

My rig left Toledo on a train Monday bound for Iowa, then it will get trucked to Portland, then trucked to the dealer up here in WA. Dealer said could be here this weekend, could be 3 weeks. I'm climbing the walls too
  9. Wheel Considerations?

Wheels are one of those things that have a wide price range. On the lower end of the range I have used Procomp with good result. But you can get wheels for 2x/3x as much from AEV and similar brands. It's your budget, I can't speak to that. I would definitely look at alloys. Alloy is just as...
  10. Just got Overland, have a couple questions.

To answer #1, if you were rubbing while driving you would know, it's hard to miss. But turn the wheel hard in both directions and see what the clearances are. Typicall you would rub against the bumper or inner fender somewhere, or top fender when going over a bump #2 you have a safety feature...

  14. Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

Just got to Jeep chat and ask. I would do it once or twice a week while in D/D1 status, then now every day. I got the build sheet when it was built, and the door sticker a couple days after KZ status. Chat with jeep and ask the code; you'll follow ok
  15. Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

I've got a window sticker. I got both.
  16. 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

From what I hear, which is rumor, there have been problems with the quality of the paint job for some colors in the bed which they hide with a bedliner.
  17. Engine Replacement @ 500 Miles

My guess it took 3 days to get FCA to sign off on warrantying a brand new engine. I've been through a couple of those.
  18. Post your 2020 JT Gladiator build status

Still JZ no ETA. I can track a $2 battery from Amazon but not a $45,000 truck through FCA. Things that make you go hmmm. Update: my Jeep is on a train bound for Iowa right now. From there it will go to Portland and then to the dealership. Maybe a week; maybe several. I do live off the beaten path.
  19. LED Lights, are they worth it?

Also consider the LED replacement bulbs; you can just swap out the halogen bulb for LED without changing the unit
  20. Engine Replacement @ 500 Miles

Just bad luck. The Pentastar 3.6l is a proven reliable engine, with 10 million of them built. They have a track record of reliability. Sorry for your woes.
