  1. Post your 2020 JT Gladiator build status

My rig is in Washington. Now it's just where it gets slotted on a truck headed this way. Could be tomorrow. Could be next week, depends on how the truck fills up and what's ahead of it.
  2. Rain Water Draining Into Cab?

I am driving a JK right now, but have owned a JKU, and TJs, YJs, and CJs. What is being described may not be normal but is certainly common. If the freedom roof panels are not seated properly you won't get a good seal, and you will get water inside. You just need to reseat them and jiggle...
  3. Not Sure what's up with Jeep Service Depts???

I had good luck with McLarty in Bentonville; can't speak about Springdale.
  4. Bestop Sunrider Top DIY Install

Thanks for the instructions. One of the few mods on my definite purchase list, Summer is almost past so may be next year
  5. Stuck in JB Hell?

While they do a fair amount of cut and paste answers; engage them in small talk and they go off script quite readily. Not bots.
  6. Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

The concensus in the JL forums seems to be that Special Scheduling Condition VII is for sold customer orders (over dealer orders). Was on my sheet as well
  7. Thinking I wasn’t told the truth

I think that "10 day time" to ship is entirely regional. I live out on a peninsula. My rig has been sitting in a rail yard in Idaho for the past 10 days waiting for other vehicles to fill the load and make it worth their while to send a truck out this way. My salesman told me it could take a...
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I don't have my JT yet, it's somewhere in transit from the factory. But I did my first thing for my Jeep today - I got a new phone. I did not get Sirius on my new rig, so new phone with unlimited data, bluetooth, Spotify, I can keep them tunes coming.
  9. Dilemma, need advice

Pick the one with no regrets.
  10. That evil box behind the mirror

I've driven Jeeps since the 70s. Only replaced 1 windshield. I wouldn't get so hung up on them. And at that you can add a rider on the policy for no deductible on glass. That's pretty cheap.
  11. Aftermarket bumper recommendations

With a Rubi, I would look for a bumper that also has a bumper skid as an accessory. The disconnect motor is pretty exposed and you need to protect it. JCR Offroad has some nice choices
  12. LED Lights, are they worth it?

If it's a good snow your headlights will get covered as you drive, and no the wind won't keep it cleaned if it starts icing up.
  13. Feeling Frustrated!

Here's your build sheet https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=1C6HJTFG6LL117520 The fenders are body colored, I am less certain on the top reading the sheet. The build sheet is far more detailed than the sticker
  14. Feeling Frustrated!

The hard top headliners is on the inside of the roof. Unless I am completely mistaken the Overland is like the Sahara, with fenders and roof the body color
  15. Best price on sunrider for hardtop?

The twill is a much higher quality, looks a lot better. Like cloth. Black diamond looks plasticky
  16. Lift Height, Tire Size, and Wheeling

I have RSE slider steps on my JK Rubi since 2015. They work all the time. Pricey, but they do the job
  17. Lift Height, Tire Size, and Wheeling

I'm looking at 8.5" wide, which should fit a 10.5-12.5" tire, and 4.5" or 5.0" of backspace
  18. Lift Height, Tire Size, and Wheeling

If you are going to wheel, you have things to consider besides tires and wheels. But let's start there. Wheels is easy. 17" rims. Larger rims will diminish your offroad performance. If you are wheeling then you will want to air down your tires to something around 12 lbs psi. This will soften...
  19. Waiting and waiting

I have owned Jeeps and Ram trucks for years, my first Jeep was a 59 Willys and I think of all the manufacturers over the years, FCA does the best job. But FCA used to have a web link you could use to check status, and they took it down a couple years ago. The cost for it is negligible, the...
  20. Waiting and waiting

This is why I am not upset at the wait. This is the first vehicle I have ordered, everything else I bought off the lot. I placed the order on 5/4 and my vehicle left Toledo on a train a week ago. It seems long to me but I don't have anything to compare it too, so I don't know what a normal time...
