  1. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Thanks @CreepyJeepy, @SargeDiesel I think its VERY important for us to get some good consistent reference measurements here.... I'll explain why down below. Sarge, you state your uptravel is 2.5", but looks like you are only counting to the lip of the new gray collar. If you include the...
  2. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

LOL... My wife has been threatening me to don one of those whiplash collars if I take her off road in my rig after we've hit bottom on surface streets. fyi, if you read the fine print on the TSB, dealers need to have your vehicle inspected before they will install any forthcoming "fix". Maybe...
  3. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Great set of pics @SargeDiesel ! Really helps a lot. A couple of notes: 1) It looks like the design of the new bumpstop collar is meant to flex outward and get pinned in-between the strike plate and lip of the spring retention tube collar at full compression. That might deaden the blow a bit...
  4. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Did they give you a phone contact for vehicle protection team, or just pass the issue along internally?
  5. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

So... a Bad News update on my end... JeepCares declined doing Mopar lift, stating its too close in time to when the TSB fix is coming out. Bummer for me, as I've been waiting over a year with this problem, and am worried after 25k miles on the truck I might have incurred collateral damage from...
  6. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Yup... 6376AA, 6377AA, and 6378AA are the springs used in the 2021's, ... at least on Rubicons. Hopefully a '22 Rubicon owner like @SargeDiesel can check and report their spring numbers. 6377AA might be ok for a Sport, but questionable on a Rubicon. 'Cause if they DIDN'T stiffen the springs...
  7. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

A while back, a JeepCares agent told me that if you already put on a lift, save the receipts, and IF the fix from FCA turned out to be the Mopar lift, then contact JeepCares and they would work to reimburse you. Might be worth a reach out to them now.
  8. Updated - Gladiator EcoDiesel Bottoming Out Poll 2 - Spring Part Numbers

I've not seen any manufacturer with a stiffer stock-height spring for JT. I've heard that Rock Krawler is slating to come out with a JT Diesel version of their 1.5" leveling kit - with front springs - in February. You could call them and check. Everyone else is at least 2" and up. Mopar and...
  9. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

    1) Call Jeep Cares at 844-533-7928 have them open a case number for you, and tell them you need to remedy the ecodiesel bottom out issue that is now TSB / Star number S2102000011 2) Tell them that it appears Jeep Cares is now moving forward with arranging warrantee fix via mopar lift. For...
  10. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

I'm chasing this down as well, thanks to @Pike1892 post. I've called Jeep Cares and had them open a new case for me, (I had an old case open but they closed it a few weeks ago). My case manager looked up the case number that Pike1892 put in his post, and she was able to figure out the...
  11. Diesel cooling options and ideas

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/ecodiesel-power-derating-as-temps-rise.45447/post-848819 Check this thread. A member used the Insane Diesel secondary oil filter kit for ecodiesels (Ram & Gladiator) which I believe taps off the port in the oil pump, and then plumbed in a...
  12. Switch to Diesel

... the heaters never go out in summer, only just before winter...
  13. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

I've also heard from Jeep Customer Care that if you've installed a Mopar lift to resolve this issue, then save your receipts, and IF Corporate determines the fix for this is the Mopar lift, then Customer Care will work to reimburse. If the fix is something other than the Mopar lift (e.g...

  15. Updated - Gladiator EcoDiesel Bottoming Out Poll 2 - Spring Part Numbers

This is entirely plausible. If the star number ends up tracing to parts (e.g. springs) addressing the issue, the springs for other models will likely be different. ..so maybe a different star number forthcoming?
  16. Switch to Diesel

It wouldn't happen on a trail in Moab conditions where you are crawling. It would only happen at highway speeds, when it's hot+hill+altitude+load (at least 3 out of those 4) On the other issue,.if your lifting your good. Go forth and prosper!!!
  17. Switch to Diesel

My 10th jeep. My first Diesel. 23kmi on it in one year. I love it. Ditto all the previous comments on mileage (my best is 28mpg on a 2kmi trip on 35's. 23/24-ish on combined driving, 13mpg ave towing #4.5k trailer at 4-7k ft altitudes up mountains). Love it as a daily driver, very...
  18. Eco diesel or max tow

Ecodiesel appear to get the same cast iron knuckles as the Mojave, vs cast aluminum in all other models, including gas Rubicon.
  19. Eco diesel or max tow

As far as I've seen, but not publicized, all diesel JTs have gotten cast knuckles.
  20. Ecodiesel power derating as temps rise?

So, reading your previous post... Did you do the S&B Vents only (e.g. not the model with direct feed to S&B compatible CAI)? Hence, the 2/3 trim on the stock air intake boot. So left scoop you’ve got air going over EGR cooler, and right scoop feeds air near the intake filter. Any worries about...
