  1. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Upper Rear Accessory Brackets for Maxtrax, tools, HiLift, etc

Very cool, something else to add to the shopping list. I swear, I will place and order eventually!
  2. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Question for anyone who has lived out of their camper for a long period, how are you organizing your clothing? At the end of the month, I will be living out of mine for about 9-10 days, mostly in the desert so washing really won't be an option. I have numerous sized soft bags by Bubba Goose...
  3. Thinking about getting a Alu-Cab Canopy

I personally haven't had any issues. The thick foam that goes between the camper and the plastic bed rails seems to have sealed perfectly. I know the Tacoma guys have issues and need to seal with Sika, but I think Tacoma bed rails are completely flat like a Gladiator.
  4. Thinking about getting a Alu-Cab Canopy

Not a dumb question. Yes, you'll want to seal up the bed completely. I had the factory bed liner and was surprised all the areas of the bed liner didn't penetrate and seal. If not already, you become very friendly with Sika Flex. Just make sure you have a box of gloves and a dedication pair...
  5. Thinking about getting a Alu-Cab Canopy

Are looking at the Canopy or the Canopy Camper? Guessing since you also mentioned Goose Gear. I am sitting on 37" Nitto Recons and installed 4.10s when I did my ARB Air Lockers and happy with the setup. Nitro had done one run of 4.30s and I may have gone with them, but at the time they weren't...
  6. Pump went out again

I'm feeling pretty good about my decision to run Hot Shot's for the past 45k miles.
  7. AEV 3 inch high capacity coils

I never said I wasn't over GVW. When I scaled it, it was fully loaded with myself, my wife, and everything for a weekend trip (including full fuel and DEF) and was 10 lbs shy of 7k. Granted, it was a farm road scale, not certified. I'm driving to KOH, I will roll it through a certified CAT scale.
  8. AEV 3 inch high capacity coils

Honestly, I would try to shed some weight first. I even have an Alu-Cab camper setup and don't weigh 7k even with the diesel.
  9. Nitto Recon Grappler 37X11.50R17

I don't have the 11.5"s, but have been running the 12.5" for 26k miles now and love them. I haven't done any true snow wheeling (anything over 12"), but I have commuted/road-tripped in them several times in snow without a problem. Now my Jeep is heavy, so the contact patch might be higher than...
  10. Who is running Falcon 3.3 shocks

Awesome, thanks for the super in-depth reply. Sounds like our Gladiators are very similar in setup. The low-speed sway back and forth on the trail is what I want to tame the most. Are you running an aftermarket rear anti-sway bar? I am running the Helwig on the heaviest setting currently...
  11. Fuel pick up tube installation

OP - how did the project turn out?
  12. Return Fuel Line Tap

Did you ever get your answers? I’m now curious about tapping the tank for a diesel heater.
  13. Who is running Falcon 3.3 shocks

I'm also looking into them. Who's running them on a heavy overland-style build? My JT is a diesel and is built a bit heavy (camper system). Currently running the Bilstein 5100s that came withe AEV kit.

    You have permission. @around_the_nw
  15. ? Adventures Wanted ? Get outdoors and share your adventures!!

Oracle backup lights. Not on.....because I was out of the Jeep taking the photo ;)
  16. Traction boards - worth hauling or forget about it?

I carry a set. I frequent the coast (sand) and the mountains (snow) and it’s usually a lot faster to help people get unstuck with a pair of boards than hooking the Jeep up to them. Plus sometimes I will use them as leveling blocks at camp.
  17. Brand New 2023 Rubicon Ecodiesel want to run 37 need to regear to 4.11 or 4.56?

BFGs are known to run a bit smaller, save money, and use it for another upgrade. For reference, here are the RPMs with 4.10 gears and 37" Nitto Recons (my diesel JT).
  18. 4 WHEEL PARTS Teraflex Big Delta Brakes Nightmare.

I know the PowerBrake system will not (I run Methods). I'm not sure if it's because of the size of the caliper and bracket or the fact that the rotor is large both in diameter and thickness. Or a combo of all of the above. They have a list of wheels that work with the system.
  19. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

I haven't unfortunately, I have been super busy lately with photography assignments (a side job that pays for Jeep fun). We have only been out once since I got it and we were in a ski area that allowed us to use their super nice lodge bathrooms. I got the Trelino mainly for my wife's #1's. I...
  20. 4 WHEEL PARTS Teraflex Big Delta Brakes Nightmare.

Maybe I am lucky, but when I upgraded to the PowerBrake system, I didn't have to do any special bleeding. I just followed the instructions, which had a mileage bleed schedule if I remember right. Second bleed after so many miles and so on. I think I bleed them three times (after the initial...
