Update on the loooong train ride- JC told me the rail car was released at Toledo 9/4. Arrived North Platte, NE 9/9. Through that info and my job connections and much searching I found the rail car had arrived in Oregon 9/17. It was stuck in the massive rail hub of North Platte for 5 days...
The base model Sport still has black flares. Only the Sport S went to body color flares standard. Spotted that on the order guide posted here. Not sure if Sport still has the dreaded wind guard piece or not...
My Max Tow '21 gas was ordered 7/20, built the week of 8/24, still KZS on Friday, now Jeep Chat said today it being shipped, still in Ohio. Their delivery 'window' is 9/14-9/28. Long train ride ahead.
Before I ordered my 2021 I noticed in the July order guide posted here that body color fender flares are standard on the Sport S for the new model year. The build tool on Jeeps' website must still be set up for 2020 models and not reflecting the change. Maybe same for the 5" screens?
Take another look at the 2021 Order Guide, (first page, I think) it shows Sport S now standard with color match flares and moulded in-color bumper. That should explain why it wouldn't let you add it. I'm counting on this change with my 2021 Bright White Max Tow order.
New guy checking in-- Someone finally came out with a cool new rig last year, ordered mine on 7/20. Checked today, D1 status. Bright White Max Tow, pleased I waited for body color fender flares to now be standard on Sport S, got lucky.
