With the exception of maybe Black Bear and barring any mud slides or maintenace closures, most of the trails in Colorado are open and free of snow in August.
I agree with what everyone has said about the trails in the San Juans. I wouldn't run Holy Cross solo however, especially in a Gladiator. Let me know when you plan to run Holy Cross, and if I am not available, I can probably fine someone to run it with you.
As a Mojave owner, if you plan in towing, the Rubicon tows better in stock trim. The springs on a Mojave are softer so if you're towing much over 2,000 lbs. or carrying a lot of weight in the bed, you'll want different springs or airbags INHO
Waiting to find out if we will be holding a land use meeting during EJS. If there is ilk make the trip, if not I'll probably skip this year. Being at the end of April, my daughter will be in school and in the middle of track season
I believe AEV, MetalCloak and Teraflex all make springs for overlanding and carrying extra weight or as already mentioned, airbags. If the camper is going to be on the Jeep all the time, I would replace the springs. If not, I would go with air bags.
Back in the day there were forest service roads all over NH and most are now closed to motorized travel. Here in Colorado, we have lost hundreds of miles of trails since I came here in 2003. The same has happened in Utah, Nevada, California, etc. That is why we need to support groups like the...
I have the AEV spacer on my 21 Mojave and I am very happy with it and it comes with the shock relocation brackets and their ProCal programmer which I swapped out for a Tazer Mini.
I can't help you with your Corbeau question, but the main reason I bought the Mojave was the seats. I am 5'11" and 230ish. I also have seat risers and a dead pedal, and I can drive all day and not feel it. Maybe finding some Mojave or even Rubicon seats used would help you out.
I have Falken AT3W 35"x17"x12.50" on my stock Mojave rims which are 17"x7.5" and they fit just fine. I also have an AEV 2" Mojave specific spacer lift, so no rubbing issues.
Thanks for the info, all I have up there now are my traction boards, but I plan on adding a solar panel at some point and may then have to move the antennas
Thanks for this visual. I have never taken the top off my Mojave and wasn't sure where these were located. Now I am wondering if mounting an aluminum roof rack would interfere with their operation?

Probably a 100w of solar. Pretty sure my daughter will be taking the Mojave with her to college and it won't get driven enough to keep everything charged.
I have only ever used Rock Hard 4x4 products and they have always performed great. Vereran owned, US made in Nebraska, great company. No experience with the other two companies.
