Giving me Chevy Avalanche vibes with that rear sports rack/bar thing on the bed.
I noticed it says "RAM Turbo" on the hood, I wonder what that means? Hurricane?
I've been dreaming for years that they'd put the hurricane motor in a gladiator, before I finally gave up waiting and got my ecodiesel.
Ah that's a perfect location. Is it as "fun" as it looks to fish wires between the cab and bed? lol
I'll need to partially pull the decked drawers to access that hole.
That's what I figured. Appreciate your confirmation. I need to stretch wires and see if EcoFlow gave me enough wire to run that length now. lol
My JTRD didn't come with the inverter and I've grown to really appreciate the fast charging anyway. With how often I drive, it's rare that my battery...
Before I start drilling holes and figuring it out the hard way, I thought I'd ask here first...
I'm planning to run electrical wiring from the engine bay to the truck bed. Ideally, I'd like to bring the wiring into the bed on the front passenger side (right side in the U.S.).
I know there's an...
Yeah the ultrasonic cleaner works wonders for things like trigger groups/FCUs and BCGs that you don't want to fully disassemble. Then I use the wolfbox to blow out all the cleaning solution before lubrication and reassembly. Basically like using a dishwasher for your gun parts. lol
I just burn...
I have one for drying off weapons parts after they've been in the ultrasonic cleaner. Works great for that.
My dad carries around a little Hercules (harbor freight) brand leaf blower and it definitely has more power for blowing off the trail dust. It's just not as compact.
I like the simplicity but those D ring/recovery points have me feeling some kind of way about torque load.
I'm not a qualified structural engineer so I can't say for sure one way or another but that just looks like an interesting way to get leverage on the frame bolts. Probably a non-issue...
I found this on google. Looks like in 2023, they had 30% off on bumpers for black friday.

Absolutely, all valid. It's different strokes for different folks and I love to see all the different options that fit different needs, and hearing the thought process that drives a person's choice in their gear. There's a lot of logic and consideration behind what we do and I like to learn from...
These are on my wrangler.. Filthy (after my last trip especially.. had a really messy oil change) and they've been touched up with spray paint many times over the years.
I'm not sure if they have them for JT but I'm going with Artec on the JT for weight savings (aluminum).
I have a trailer with a RTT on it and it's great for most of what we do but it's still a bit to setup and take down every day, especially with a family that requires heat. lol
The tear drop trailer would be great since you don't have to setup anything to sleep, as long as you can keep your bed...
No experience with their bumper but I have their entire underbelly skid plate system on my wrangler and it's solid, heavy duty, has stood up to serious abuse, and fit well.
Their telephone customer service was pretty good when I called them once before.
I just decided that if I'm to invest that much money into such a style of camper, I shouldn't need to still setup a outdoor heating source.
It's just me being picky but I want as close to zero setup just to make a comfortable sleeping platform for my wife and son. So a vent cut out isn't ideal...
